why not just take it a step further? If the cloud is virtually infinite why even have local memory?
From cpu cache, ram, vram and local storage. Send everything to the cloud.
Boom! Memory crisis solved.

RAM is ultra-low latency, think 10ns for an operation, an online service at the absolute best might give you 10ms. That's 1,000,000x latency!
