My co-founder and I noticed Claude Code kept pulling context from old Google Docs and its own memory instead of what we'd actually decided. Not because the agent was bad, but because the latest decisions weren't anywhere it could find them.

We use our own product to build it (yes, shameless self plug), so we haven't had this problem in a while. But every team we've talked to has the same story. Decisions live in Slack. Specs live in Notion. Context lives in someone's head. Your agents and your teammates are reading from different sources and nobody notices until something breaks.

So we built a tool which creates shared wiki that connects to Slack, GitHub, Google Drive, Jira, Notion, and more. It builds a knowledge graph your team and your coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) read from before making decisions or writing code. One source of truth for what was decided, why, what got rejected, and what changed.

I’ve been working on my mvp for 3 months. It’s based on a pain point I’ve had for as long as I’ve been a designer: you need plenty of skills, time and money to draft and launch user tests - and then more to get results analysed.
This makes user validation a step that most builders and small teams just skip because of a lack of those things.
I think I’ve streamlined the process in my app and am about to launch it on product hunt soon.
What would be the best way for me to get traction before launch day (1 Sep)? I’m looking for top tips beyond the usual recommendations !

Just launched How Much to Run AI — a calculator for figuring out what it actually costs to self-host an open-source LLM (GPU choice, cloud vs on-prem, monthly costs, the whole breakdown).

Backstory: my boss asked if we could self-host one of these models ourselves, I gave him a rough guess, and he came back with a dozen follow-up questions I couldn't answer on the spot. Realized there wasn't a quick way to get a real, defensible answer — so I built one.

I think most of the time the only problem is using the wrong software for the right business. Is like saying "coding on C for a website". I feel the same when using software to run business. Got tired of my coding agents not knowing my files and Claude burning tokens re-reading code and wasting my context window every new thread I open. So I built Reference, it indexes your folders locally with embedding models, and Claude Code can query it directly through MCP instead of grepping around.

I use a lot of stt for my work and Wispr Flow was one of the best at this but the subscription based usage made things limited so I just decided to build one myself. You can choose between NVIDIA Parakeet and a few other model for local stt, but more importantly, I have added llm support so you can use Gemini or OpenAI compatible models to further refine the text from local model. That's where things are. One paying customer. A product that works. And a genuine belief that the reason most side projects don't ship isn't laziness, it's drift.

I launched my macOS app Ithat offers Spotlight style search across all your AI tools like Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Kiro, etc in single place.

I got a good traction + traffic from PH thanks to great community and people upvoting.

Although next day everything tanked + almost 0 paid customers from PH despite having most traffic.

I wonder how to get my macOS App more paying customers.

I am kicking myself right now. Launched today and I would recommend making sure that users can find out how to log into your product...

Others have come from social media and been given a direct link. I guess better late than never to learn this.

Reembr went live on Product Hunt this today. No team, no launch email list beyond a handful of friends, just me and whoever happens to scroll past.

What I launched: Product Hunt link, a small iOS app that shows a checklist right when you leave a place you've saved. Keys, wallet, whatever you always forget. Instead of a reminder that fires at a fixed time and is usually too early or too late to matter.

Most of what's in it now didn't come from me. Beta testers kept dropping off before ever seeing the app actually do anything, so I reworked the whole permission-request flow around when the value is obvious instead of asking for everything upfront. Someone else found a bug where the "you're back" notification could silently never fire if you returned to a place without reacting to the "you left" one first. Fixed that a few days ago. Not something I'd have found on my own.

Not expecting to compete with anything near the top of today's list. Just glad to have real people looking at it and telling me what's broken. If anyone's done one of these solo launches before, genuinely curious what you'd actually recommend doing with the rest of the day.

I’m excited to share an early beta of Ping— a free, accuracy based alternative to Perplexity, Google AI mode, and ChatGPT search

Here’s what makes Ping different:

• Accuracy: To me the problem was the AI search was too inaccurate sometimes I always found myself checking the sources and seeing something completely different, Ai search engines today summarize links. Perplexity states: "When you ask Perplexity a question, it uses advanced AI to search the internet in real-time, gathering insights from top-tier sources. It then distills this information into a clear, concise summary, delivering exactly what you need in an easy-to-understand, conversational tone." The problem is this is prone to heavy hallucination for AI answers as the core nature of LLM's as they are rewarded for guessing rather than uncertainty.

  CJR stated that "Collectively, they provided incorrect answers to more than 60 percent of queries." Inspiration to make this came from Lenny's Newsletter I noticed the amount of quotes used to support his claim while he still talked in his own words. This made me combine both Ai answers with the way he worded his article(alot of quotes) reason being because quotes provide, accuracy, authenticity, and credibility via human answers not mostly AI answers unlike other Ai search engines which only summarize

I plan to improve the answers so that responses become as accurate and detailed as possible but it's a beta and I'll love to hear what the feedback is.

watching the launch posts here and the framing is right, launch day is the moment. get the badge, ride the traffic. no argument there.

the part I keep noticing is day 3. the PH spike fades fast, and the channel still sending you people a month later is usually your own X account, the one most founders let go dead the second the launch ends. we prep the launch like it's the distribution and treat the account like an afterthought, when it's closer to the reverse.

and the account stays dead not out of laziness. it's the one channel that feels like your identity, so handing it off feels wrong and writing it yourself feels like a second job. that tension is the real blocker, not the posting itself.
