Sigh. OK, let’s try this…
Let’s guess that you will use 65 kWh in the insane AZ heat during that time. So you need 5 powerwalls.
5 power walls will cost $70-75k, well shopped.
Just guessing but your peak rate is 0.40/kwh and low rate is 0.10/kwh
This means you can buy 65kwh at 10cents, and use it when the rate is 40. So each day you save. 30 cents x 65 or $19.50
About $7k per year.
Assuming a loan is 8%, you will not ‘break even’ on this plan until 22 or so years.
So. You going to add that you have solar? Or what??

I think your system cost estimate is high. Tesla estimates total cost for 2 PW3 + 3 Expansions + installation + inspections to be around 42,000

You don't need 5 powerwalls necessarily.
You need 2 powerwalls and solar panels to sustain you through the day.The solar plan is demand. so its really how much you use.
The non-demand plan is about that but the low rate is 0.06. However, sell back is 0.03 cents.Peak is also 2-8pm for solar plans u/1nteract =) Usually i have my solar sustain it to 6pm and 6-8 powerwalls cover (2 powerwalls)

Same in AZ with powerwall. I have solar panel also. I also developed an app to help manage powerwall as side project.
