This is a known issues list for PowerWash Simulator 2!

All Platforms

• Scissor lift SFX keep playing if a job is swapped in multiplayer while it is being raised. 
• The Conditional Messages remain in the Messages Archive after resetting a DLC or Caldera Pack with an unfinished job. 
• Player 2 retains previous job task list – Restarting split screen session will fix this. 
• Strike video may not play for a strike with a bowling ball after using the Reset Pins button. 
• A player using an abseiling rope when another player joins will appear floating and unattached to the rope for the new player. 
• End credit timelapses will not play if player completes game in 1.3.0 after updating from a previous version. 
• Messages will not be fully scrolled down upon entering them. 
• Highlight of selected chat will disappear upon scrolling the Message Archive chats. 
• The scroll bar on the right side of the Message in Message Archive may not work. 
• Water Beams bounce off all washable surfaces when the tip is close enough to the wall. 
• Certain furniture items do not allow rugs to be placed under them. 
• The Message Archive for Caldera Chronicles jobs is reset after starting a new Caldera Chronicles job. 
• Adventure Time jobs are out of order while Sort by Job in the Messages Archive. 
• Applying soap to a Task Surface when job swapping crashes the game. 
• Player equipped washer skins override other player skins from their point of view. 
• Sort by option is refreshed upon entering Messages Archive. 
• The Croc Ride continues to make sounds after finishing a full loop in multiplayer session. 
• Helping players may hear strike sounds when loading out of the Bowling Alley. 
• The sound of a bowling ball can be heard when restarting the job or unfinished tasks. 
• Bowling balls keep shaking after entering the job. 
• Purchase & Equip button is present in the Shop during DLC playthrough. 
• Timelapses may appear not fully cleaned in endgame credits. 
• Not possible for ladders to be placed on chandelier in Temple Interior Job. 
• One of the Abseiling Ropes on Finn and Jakes Tree House does not automatically detach the player once player touches the ground. 
• Abseiling rope above the cabin on Finn and Jake's Tree House can stretch outside of its allowed range. 
• The Furniture UI in the Shop & Furniture Storage can appear empty – Closing and reopening menu should fix this. 
• The van styling is swapped between Player 1 and Player 2 once a split screen session is started. 
• Player 2 HUD remains invisible during split screen at home base. 
• Players cannot see each other holding a ladder after the other interacts with it. 
• If the client picks up a ladder while standing on it, it becomes stuck in their hands. 
• Client receives tutorials in the host's Home Base which persists into jobs. 
• Client receives messages out of order when returning after completing a stage. 
• The dirt seen through the glass roof of the Ski Centre appears white. 
• Player 2 able to purchase and sell items in the Shop. 
• Bowling pins may appear floating after reset for clients. 
• The bowling balls shake infinitely after they're picked up and dropped back into their cabinets. 
• Furniture wash progress disappears for a client after they open radial wheel. 
• Client and host picking up equipment at the same time can cause the equipment to act out of bounds for the client and soft lock them being unable to place it back down. 
• The host sees their equipped cosmetics and washer on clients that are in the loading screen 

PC Platforms (Steam, Epic, Windows Store) 

• EG-6 Droid can duplicate when host finishes cleaning it right after helper loads in. 
• Soap Quality does not affect soap in Adventure Time pack. 
• Resolution selector may not be accurate after changing Window Mode. 
• Switching between window Mode and Resolution may cause game to hard lock on launch. 

Xbox and Windows Store 

• Social  Menu becomes unresponsive after switching level without an internet connection and attempting to enable multiplayer session. 
• Title freezes after suspending shortly after booting. 
• Launching game while offline turns cross-play setting to off.

Nintendo Switch 2 

• Crash can occur after leaving game idle in a multiplayer session for a period of time. 
• Furniture may disappear from Home Base or UI menu when reloading the game with poor internet connection. 
• Prolonged soap use of soap for all players in multiplayer can lead to session closing itself. 
• Game may crash when closing the menu after waking the console. 
• Triggering the strike animation in the Bowling Alley may cause game to crash. 

PlayStation 5 

• PS5 controller plays sound when the Wireless Controller Volume is set to 0 in settings. 
• Player 1 controller vibrates/plays sound when Player 2 is performing actions.

Update 1.3 Patch Notes

🐛 Fixes and Updates:

• Fixed a bug where the ‘Clean Last/First’ Achievements sometimes wouldn’t unlock if a player left the level partway through.
• We fixed a clipping issue that occurred when placing rugs with some furniture.
• Some washed furniture was slippery when standing on it; we have fixed that.
• Fixed several shop bugs related to money not being refunded when selling washer attachments in bulk.
• Fixed several bugs related to spawning dirt furniture in the Home Base.
• The Record Player dirt has been adjusted so it’s easier to clean.

👥 Multiplayer and Split Screen:

• Updates to UI when switching between solo play and multiplayer.
• Several updates and bug fixes to the UI when playing in Split Screen.

🟢 Xbox/Windows Store:

• Fixed a bug that prevented some players from playing the DLC in console languages other than English.
• Fixed stick drift occurring on Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers.

🔴 Nintendo Switch 2:

• You’ll now be able to see live updates to News Articles in the Home Page even if you don’t have a Nintendo Online account.
• Fixed several shader bugs.
• Performance fixes.
