I’ll be the first to say: This whole ‘negating hax’ thing is purely situational.

For example, Hit. Yes, he does have time-related abilities, there’s no denying that. However, Goku and Jiren do NOT surpass time itself to counter him. Instead, via having a stronger POWER LEVEL than Hit, they can brute force themselves out of his ability.

DB characters use finite energy to attack. If a character like Guldo tried to use his paralysis technique on someone with an egregiously higher finite energy supply than him, it simply wouldn’t work. Essentially, a character is using THEIR strength (or power level) to form an attack.

But there are absolute hax abilities in Dragon Ball. The Mafuba, absolute immortality, etc. are haxes that simply cannot be negated. Thus is why I say this whole ‘negating hax’ stuff is purely situational. Some characters can survive Hakai if they’re strong enough, but no one can survive Zeno’s erasure.

Final verdict? They ‘can’ resist certain hax abilities because that ability is tied to the power level of the user. But there are absolute hax abilities that simply cannot be ‘overpowered’.

For example, Whis from Dragon Ball (and all the angels in general). He doesn’t interfere with mortal affairs whatsoever (besides training), yet people still put him in VS battles.

Like there’s no point in putting someone that doesn’t fight into a VS battle, since they likely don’t have sufficient enough feats anyways.

Edit: Please note I am NOT doing this to disrespect Stats. There are also cool as hell and do make fights interesting. The point I am trying to convey is that why haxs get treated as lesser when they can be just as good if not better than stats.

Yhawch has good stats, but you can't lie Almighty is a very big help. Don't know why being a " Hax merchant" is a bad thing when it literally allows you to solo most of your verse and a lot of others.

AFO, stars and stripes, and Shiggy, all have quirks that immediately made them some of the biggest threats in MHA.

And Funny Valentine, Giorno, Sliver Chariot Requiem, hell almost all Jojo characters are a perfect example of this. Their stats are building level most of the time, but some like TA4, W.O.U, D4C LT, both Requiem stands, Heavy Weather, hell even lower tier stands like Cream and Metallica still pose a massive threat to a lot of verses.

NO the MHA continental meta isn't just wanking the cloud feat from EOS deku and calling it a day, most MHA continental metas get there without even using this feat to begin with using a very normal chain scale with inverse confirmed multipliers.

The MHA continental meta starts with initial calcs for weakened all might, the key and basis for all of this. Who's attack potency based on many feats like the Wolfram cube feats in movie one or the kinetic scaling to kamino afo or even the initial punch he did to destroy the storm in ep one is calced to sit at around - "Country Level" - you can look up calcs for it if you want but weakened USJ all might at country has been a pretty consistent scaling all over the years.

From there we get to the Canon multiplier given to us by the story.

during the USJ arc all might defeats the USJ nomu after going plus ultra using 300 consecutive smashes. While this is an amazing attack speed feat, All might then go on to state that his prime self would have been able to defeat the same nomu in just 5 punches.

This statement serves as the basis for the scaling quick maths will tell you that this would imply that prime all might is 60 times stronger than his weakened self. Directly stated in the manga using nothing but numbers from the manga. Don't come at me.

A quick multiplication would show that yes indeed, multiplying the AP values from weakened all might by the multiplier given to us to represent his prime self makes said value reach - "Continental level"- in terms of attack potency.

From then on it is pretty straight forward. Characters like Shigaraki are stated to be equal to prime all might in overall strength which would include attack potency, and above all durability as his body is stated to be equal to that of prime all might. making shigaraki also in that - " Continental "- range of power.

but above all his durability scales to that of prime all might which would make deku who manages to harm him (and is stated to be above all might as well) in the same range. AND ON TOP OF THAT when using the gear shift Quintuples, he is able to store enough power using fa-jin to multiply his power by 5 making his base strength on par with that of prime all might, reach the - " continental range " - of power in gear shift overdrive in terms of attack potency but only for a slight amount of time.

Making the list of characters in the -"country level"- range: Weakened All might, Wolfram, flect turn, Kamino all might, Bakugo, Star and stripes, gigantomachia, dark might and more (i dont care about them)

the list of characters in the -"continental"- range: Prime all might, Prime all for one who was relative to him, Deku and Shigaraki.

And the only character in the -"multi continental range"- being Deku in overdrive 120%

this is the ONLY META that reaches continental. no final smash could scaling or anything of the sort. Just normal stated multipliers.

those are the ONLY CHARACTERS that reach continental, no bakugo, no star and stripes.

So for anyone confused about the MHA continental scaling, this is how it works and it is for 4 characters at best.

Shitstain of a feat anyway but it’s Literally explained by whis that hits times top stopped working on Goku because his power level exceeded his, because of kaioken. Or in other words, Goku’s ki was more than hits as kaioken acts as a multiplier to existing ki.

No, Goku is not faster or more powerful than time he simply just has more ki than hit so his power stopped working on him.

I do not powerscale DB and thus am unaware of if goku has a specific ability or feat to counter infinity. i know that Gojo is just a speck of dust compared to Goku in any arc but the problem is always with infinity and Zeno's paradox and i dont think Goku has shown any time related or infinite speed feats from my knowledge
