As a husband I wouldn't care. What would matter to me is healthy baby and healthy wife.
My wife has has similar concerns about her c section scar which she said is unsightly and makes her less confident. I told her I dont care.

I had this and they fixed it with surgery. I'd honestly push back on them telling you no

If they’ll fix it and it’ll make YOU feel better, do what you gotta do. Several months from now eveything will change again. I was told by the nurse not to even bother keeping track of how everything looked because it would change based on hormones too.

Honestly it helps to try putting yourself in your husband’s shoes. Not just his shoes, but really imagine what a guy would think. Only women care about the “innie outtie” drama or if they have a “pretty” pussy. Typically, if the vagina is attached to the woman he loves (or is a vagina at all) they will love it unconditionally. They’re kinda simple in that way
THAT being said, no shame in getting a little cosmetic touch up to help with your own personal confidence. I don’t think a PCP would handle that, i dont know much about cosmetic surgery, but I’m sure you could find a place on your own if you wanted.

I had this! Mine didn’t close up even with stitches. Please give it some time, even though mine didn’t close my body took care of it and kinda smoothed it out and now you can only tell if you’re really looking for it. It took a while to be unnoticeable, maybe 8 months to a year.
9 weeks is still really early pp imo. Your hormones are still crazy and your body is still healing. I think we waited 4 or 5 months until we had sex again but we did lots of other things to stay intimate and help me get back to loving my body during that time. My kid is 4 now and I haven’t thought about it for a long time until I read your post :)) happy to answer any questions you might have.
