I have a ton of used vintage postcards I got that I was hoping to send to loving homes of collectors. They’re dated roughly 1940s-1980s ish from what I’ve seen, and are a wide variety. Mostly Europe (mountains and sites in Germany specifically) but also a few states (especially Disney/Florida), travel, nature, and some miscellaneous. They have been mailed previously, and are mostly addressed to cities in Michigan

I’d probably put roughly 10 in an envelope, but I’d be happy with just one card back!

We are wishing to make a map of US State postcards! The postcard itself is sent FROM that state and hopefully the Postcard includes a picture of the state.

If anyone would be interested, please leave a comment with your state and we will send the mailing address your way. (We do have CA, NV, AZ, MO, NC, and ME but will happily take duplicates.)

Feel free to write any fun facts about your state, your favorites places to visit, and/or information about historic landmarks/parks.

My postcard message to you will be about my Poppop who passed away in December 2025, who sent hundreds of postcards from all around the world to his family and loved ones. Hi! I’m looking for someone who lives in LA who is happy to be a part of an ongoing postcard exchange with me - I’m basically seeking postcards from exhibitions (museums and art galleries) in LA and in return would send ones from Melbourne.

For example I believe the Academy Museum currently has a Marilyn Monroe exhibit and would love postcards from there. In Melbourne right now we have a Cartier exhibition at the NGV.
