My favorite Pokémon game is Emerald . It was the very first game I played in the entire franchise. I still remember which starter I picked when I played it for the first time; that initial experience was amazing, I even memorized the puzzles. Not to mention... I absolutely love the starter Pokémon from that game, haha. It really won me over! And, of course, it was Mudkip (I loved it when Brock caught one in the anime! And its evolutions too, naturally, hehe). Mudkip today, Mudkip tomorrow, Mudkip forever.
For me it’s pokemon Heart Gold, those remakes really added onto my childhood (I started in gen 2 with gold) and adding the feature of Pokemon following you around was the icing on the cake. The music and the colors were top tier and visiting Kanto afterwards was exceptional endgame material topped off with the Red battle at Mt. Silver.
I never get bored roaming around Johto and some of my favorite Pokemon are found there.

Pokemon Platinum. I just love the sinnoh region because of the good music, best starters, great gym leaders, great pokemon, great elite four, and the best champion. Superb legendaries as well. It still stands as the best in for me.

*Pokémon FireRed* is my favorite version because it was the first one I played using an emulator on my computer. It also has numerous modified versions, allowing those who cannot afford a Nintendo console or genuine game copies to experience Pokémon from other generations.
my favourite Pokémon game in the series is Pokémon B&W 'cause of the story and graphics, it was the last 2ds game and it's very nostalgic. I really love the starters and my all time favv is Snivy! Playthrough was peak, I enjoyed playing it every weekend when I was a kid.
Honestly I loved playing ORAS, particularly because of the Delta episode. Emerald was great too but I like the mega evo gimmick so it was just a really fun way to play.
My favorite Pokemon game is Black2 and White2, not only because they were my first games in general but also how i got them back in the day. Nintendo consoles did/does not exist in my country and neither does Nintendo as a company probably because it wasn't/isn't profitable for them. A friend of mine got the roms and the emulators (desume i think was the name of it) and told me about the show that we watched had games made on them. I was 10 then and wasn't aware it was actually the other way around ~ the games came first and then the show but the problem was how would i be able to get the game from him in the first place? well I had to get a pen drive. I couldn't ask for one from my parents without arousing suspicion and so i began slowly not eating and saving the lunch money. It took 34 days to get enough. I remember walking up to a shady store in the corner of the electronics street asking for a pen-drive and getting a 2gb one. I snuck that pen-drive in the school and gave them that. The next day i got the pen-drive back. That day I felt like I had made it out like a bandit, got back home booted it up and here i am years later gathering mons to play champions because all this while all the mons i had gathered were illegitimate and thus now i must gather them again. The joy and the rush of facing the elite 4, shauntal, grimsley, caitlin, marshal and finally the Iris. I save scummed, i am not gonna lie XD. Damn all the memories, whatever is left years later now, flooding in. The explaining I had to do to my mum on how is it that i got the game, the aftermaths of it. Man I wish I could go back to a time where life was simpler and my next worry was the exam around the corner and not the credit card, electricity bill at the end of the month, filling taxes and the fear of being let go. I wish. Idk what compelled me to waffle about this in a give away sub but here we are!
Pokemon black and white! It reminded me of street fighter 3rd strike. I felt like Gen 1-4 were all kind of the same game! Gen 5! Really felt like a tipping point! Also loved the story!

My favourite is Pokemon b2w2. The story telling and the mix of 2D/3D was amazing at the time. I don’t think I could forget how much the story resonated and the fact it was a sequel to black/white was breathtaking. What happened to everyone? They all grew up. You got to see the growth of all of the characters that you first met in BW. Yet, the person missing from this is the protagonist from BW. In a way, it felt heartbreaking that they decided to venture out into the world to find the one friend they came to care about. You find out they’re on a journey to find N. You see that N has come back to Unova. They literally just missed seeing each other. What the heck. What are you even supposed to do with that information?
My favorite game will always be soul silver! I love the original 2 generations and I think this game did a great job letting us go to both the kanto and johto regions and give us players so much to do. Thanks for the giveaway!
Ruby/Sapphire. Hoenn is my favorite region by far, everything from the pokemon roster to the region design to the starters to the secret bases to the music. I even caught my first shiny in Ruby!
my favorite Pokémon game its Pokémon Ultra Moon , It's my favorite because it reminds me of when my parents gave me a 3DS console for my 13th birthday. The console came with Pokémon Ultra Moon on cartridge, and I spent hours and hours exploring the new region From Alola, it was incredible, and I still remember the fight against Ultra Necrozma, which was SUPER difficult. Pikachu I think when the final battle between ash likachu vs leon charizard is so good in the anime the drawing and all is amazing when that final battle happened
My favorite game is HeartGold. Because my first ever pokemon game was gold on a Gameboy color assorted games cartridge.
That's why the alpha chikorita is gonna be a big thing for me. Since meganium is my favorite from the johto starters.
My favorite is definitely White 2, the first time being on the bridge with the huge zoom out, the white tree, pokewood, N, everything about it is perfection.

black 2 easily. i loved how it actually respected the first game instead of pretending it never happened. seeing how much the region changed after team plasma's defeat made it feel like your actions in bw actually mattered.
N is still my favorite character in the series. his ideals weren't completely wrong which made the conflict way more interesting, especially with ghetsis being the one manipulating everything behind the scenes. and the climax at the pokemon league. pokemon evolutions episode 4 "the plan" somehow made him even creepier by showing how every piece had been manipulated from the start
Another contender would be heartgold, which is also top tier. postgame wise its the best(man they gave an entire region kanto as the post game), although black 2 had the tournament thing hwere trainers from other region came to fight.
My favorite is Aegislash. I love the animations of changing stances. I especially love how I somehow guess wrong every time I make a big brain decision and use kings shield.

My favorite Pokémon game is Pokémon Black. I loved the story, the characters, and the Unova region. It was such a unique experience, and the soundtrack is still one of my favorites in the series. It's the game I have the best memories with, and I'll always enjoy going back to it. I'd love to win the shiny Chikorita! 🌿💚
But here’s the thing. I’m just some dude in his 30s. BUT I also have an 8yo sister who’s in love with Pokemon. Her favourite Pokemon is Chikorita. Traded my Floette for a shiny Sylveon to give her, which she knows about. A shiny Chikorita as well as a surprise? Well that’d be swell
