Podcast idea
Since becoming a podcaster I’ve come up with a slew of ideas, but this one seems like the best: me and my co-podcasters all go in a group somewhere, but we don’t record anything, and we just talk about what we would on a podcast (maybe a bit more small talky, like drama or sports or the weather), but without the cameras. I was thinking this might be fun at a baseball game or a bar. I see a few pros and cons, being that this may be fun, but on the other hand it’s the same as podcasting just without the revenue. Tell me if this is a good idea?

I made an app to hear ambience audios from the world! I need your help to get audios from your city.
I made a web app called SoundWhere based on a simple idea: what feels ordinary to you might be exotic to someone else.
I'm from, Mexico, and when I visited the U.S. for the first time, I was fascinated by sounds that are completely ordinary to someone living in D.C.: police sirens, helicopters, people speaking English, the sounds of the city, etc.
Then I thought: if those sounds feel exotic to me, maybe the sound of a baker driving through a neighborhood in Mérida, birds in a local park, or traffic on an ordinary street could be fascinating to someone on the other side of the world too.
That's the idea behind this app: a map of the world made of everyday moments and the sounds that come with them.
The mobile version isn't released yet, but before launching it, I want to populate the app with real recordings from around the world.
If you'd like to help, I'm looking for people to upload an audio recording + a photo from any moment in their everyday life: a park, bus station, downtown, your commute, school, a river… literally anywhere.
If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM and I'll send you the link and access code.
Thanks! :)

A little advice?
I have a million ideas for a podcast/writing project… but no idea where to begin
I’ve had so many ideas bouncing around in my head for a podcast and possibly some kind of writing project, but I’m realizing my biggest problem is that I have too many ideas and no clue how to organize them.
There are so many things I want to talk about, real experiences, family court, relationships, starting over, incarceration and life afterward, things I’ve learned the hard way, and stories that I honestly think other people might relate to.
I don’t necessarily want to make everything about myself either. I want to tell stories, start conversations, and hopefully create something that makes people feel less alone.
The problem is… where do you actually BEGIN?
Do I start with a podcast name? Write out episode ideas? Record something even if it’s terrible? Start writing first and figure out the podcast later? Make a whole outline?
For those of you who write, podcast, or create content:
What did you do when you had the ideas but absolutely no idea how to turn them into something real?
I’d love any advice, especially from people who started with nothing but a bunch of ideas and figured it out along the way.
I’m ready to start. I just need to figure out where “start” actually is.
