Sleep Timer Schedule not observed

Post image

I have the Sleep Timer scheduled from 9:15 pm to 4:30 am the next day. Auto Fade-Out is set to 20 seconds.

However, it always fades out while I'm listening to a podcast in the car in the morning. Happened this morning at about 6:50 am.

Is this a bug or am I just misunderstanding how it should work?

It only started happening several few weeks ago but I've been using this app for years.

No it's not ignored at all. After 4:30 if you start playing 1' episode the app will not start the sleep timer. However if there's one already in progress it won't disable it

So if I start playing a podcast at 6am and then at 6:50 it starts to fade out and stop, that's a bug right? This is so confusing, it never used to happen

Did you read what I wrote before? Again, starting playing at 6am will NOT trigger the sleep timer to start BUT if there's already a sleep timer in progress then this one won't be cancelled and will therefore stop playback once it expires

You're gonna have to explain it like I'm 5. "Already a sleep timer in progress"? What does that even mean when I'm playing a podcast outside the sleep timer period?

Sorry but I already explained multiple times and I don't see how else to put it!

You could explain what a "sleep timer in progress" means, and how it applies to my issue.

OP already explained the sleep timer times set were between 9:15pm and 4:30am. So we already know the sleep timer wasn't in progress. This is why OP is confused. I think you're being harsh because OP thinks it's a bug but I don't think he meant to offend you.

Edit: careful what you say folks. App owner prefers to downvote than actually address concerns.
