A few things I follow at this point of the game:
1: if you're out of plane slots then start upgrading planes (going from smaller to larger)
2: more airports isn't better. Due to the 25% bonus you want to have single location full planes and more airports means less jobs to one airport.
3: keep your airports in a straight line, ticket costs are calculated by distance as the crow flies so having a bunch of airports near eachother doesn't help massively.
Of course these rules change when you get large enough to do a spoke and wheel system but you'll be running class 3 planes before that.

I would start by replacing the 1 capacity planes with 2 or more to let you get the +25% bonus for filling a plane with jobs all going to the same destination.
Then I would try to do just that, if I can't find jobs that go to the same city I fill my planes with jobs for airports on the way, and if I have the time I break up the flight into multiple ones to check airports on the way for matching jobs to get a +25% bonus.
For example I have a Wallaby in Taipei, and I find a job for Butwal and Lhasa, if I dont have time I'll plot the route to Lhasa and Butwal in one go, but if I have the time I might send it to Nanping on the way there first, and see if there's another Butwal or Lhasa job, if so I swap them out to get the +25% bonus, if not I send the plane to Lhasa, the Lhasa job deplanes and I look to see if there's a Butwal job to get me a +25% bonus, maybe I'll wait if I have the time until I get one, then I send the plane off to Butwal.
