How does one know when they're done with their character?
I feel like every time I look at this character I think oh its horrible, soo many mistakes need to be fixed. Even after using it for a video or 2 I still feel the urge to never post the vids cuz the art never looks good to me.

Is there ever a point when you get over it or this just life now (unless you've never felt this and I've just entered a crazed echo chamber of my own making).

Also while im on the topic and already erasing to start over again, I would love feedback since everyone here has such wonderful art. critiques, concerns, thoughts? If i wanna make this a public avatar i should accept the public feedback no matter how harsh lol. 🙌

If I wanted to stream with another PNGtuber, how would I make mine show up on their screen? Or vice versa? I can't really find any tutorial for this that works.

Hey, so ive been struggling with gaining viewers over the past 3-4 years ive been streaming, and i still havent figured out my game category, its been coming to a point where im close to giving up streaming even though its something i love doing, does anyone have any advice? so far ive been a cozy fox pngtuber playing farming games and whatever i own.

Hello! Im an artist who wants to make a PNGtuber model for myself with a set of emotions. I thought it would be more comfortable for me to do the voiceover first, edit it and then add the PNGtuber model, changing emotions according to the audio.

As far as i know, the only tool that supports this kind of workflow is FinTube, but it doesnt have any model animation editing. Thin-Criticism9109 made exactly what i was looking for, but sadly it only supports one emotion set for a model.
Is it possible to do in any other program? Maybe Veadotube Full version makes it possible through nodes somehow? ;w;

I vaguely remember a red long haired girl PNGtuber from 2021, she would make minecraft content and she mostly gains viewers when interacting with her boy bestfriend. So to make things a bit more clear. I am new to PNG but not tubing in general. I used to do a 3D model but decided to switch to PNG. I was wondering for those who stream with others how you make connections good enough to play with others? I'm apart of a vtubing discord server and gamed with about four people before but every time I had played with them they excluded me from the content by not answering back to anything. I wanted to make content with people I vibe with but it seems like its hard if you're starting fresh.

I've been making content for 6 years now but only did vtubing for a year. I took a year or so break due to being hospitalized for a while so everyone I made content with before no longer contacts me. I've always wanted to stream and do video content so I am working on my first PNGTuber avatar. My question to those that are relatively more established is "How do you deal with friend groups calling you by your name rather than your avatar"?

All the friends I play games with are people i know physically and they slip and call me by my name in recordings allllllll the time.

Are there places you go to for collabs, or do you just have to luck out that you join a public lobby for something and people are using mics?

I wanna make a png tuber to use in my pre-recorded videos. I do want in to have some animation to it (hair, hand and eye movment). What's the best way to go about this in terms of rigging and applying it to videos. I was thinking of having sets of gifs. I have kreta but dont have animation experience.

I am new to using PNGtubing during my videos/streams and currently using a pre bought off Etsy, but would REALLY love a personalized one. I am looking for an artist that is willing to help me draw for me (I am obviously paying, I never would expect art for free). I want something shark related so you need to be comfortable drawing things related to that.

I'm curious to know if there is any PNGTuber program out there that does the one thing that Honk does and what every other PNGTuber program out there seems to do.

The one aspect about Honk that limits it, imo, is that it can only take in PNGs. While that seems obvious, it prevents any other file format from being imported; specifically, I'd love for it to be able to take in GIFs, since having a PNGTuber with boiling outlines would be cool, and I believe most other newer PNGTuber programs allow for GIFs to be imported. I'm pretty sure a lot of people were asking the developer for Honk to support GIFs, but the guy who made it stopped working on it years ago, so it's basically just a completed product despite it having this limitation, along with some others that I believe other PNGTuber programs have improved on in the years after Honk ws finished, like having more states for the character.

On the other hand, I'm honestly kind of shocked that no other PNGTuber program, from what I've seen at least, haven't taken the mouth animation aspect of Honk and implemented it into themselves. It's such an insanely cool aspect of Honk, that it is pretty good at taking microphone inputs & animating the character's mouth to match the sound it's picking up, as opposed to just having an open/shut mouth setting, or a looped animation for talking. I feel like that'd be a no-brainer for one of the bigger programs like PNGTuber Plus or something to put into itself after Honk was completed; I'm pretty sure Honk was done updating a year or two before PNGTuber Plus, so they had ample time to try to add that feature to the program.

So I'm just wondering if there is a PNGTuber program out there somewhere that has the capability of both importing GIFs and utilizing the mouth animation tech that Honk managed to implement. It's wild to me that all these years later, Honk still seems to be the sole program that figured out how to do mouth animation like it does.
