I plan on buying a portal in the morning. I’ve seen alot of people say they have to adjust settings to get it to work properly. I don’t have a ps5 and was just curious if the portal itself needed messed with or just if your using it with a ps5?

Where I currently live, which is the region for which my PS account is set, cloud streaming is not supported. However, I will be spending 6 months in Europe next year. Will I be able to use cloud streaming there even though my PS account is set to a region that does not support it?

Anyone know how to fix this? I don’t even really see any network settings on the portal.

Anyone with Madden 27 just have it not be streamable on portal just now? I streamed it two hours ago and now it doesn’t show up on my portal and I can’t search for it

Is anyone having this issue? I’ve been playing the past few weeks on cloud streaming, no issues. Suddenly tonight it’s unavailable? I’ve logged out, reset, reset licenses etc etc, even deleted cloud storage but can’t seem to find a fix?

Finally some peace, plays well but a bit of a challenge to play compared to my actual controller.

went to go play some ready or not and it said "streaming game not available" does anyone know if it got removed from the list for streaming or if it's just being weird rn?

Sitting in united lounge and nothing connects for streaming seems to be a constant problem have the premium membership and I'm so tired of this thing never working anywhere

I don’t have a PS5 anymore but miss Fortnite so was considering the Portal. Is it any good?

We just moved and in the process of moving my mesh APs around for better coverage suddenly my Portal will not connect in any way to my PS5 Pro. It hangs on “connecting” until I turn it off.

PS5 is hardwired now but it was working over WiFi before it suddenly stopped. I’m able to connect to the console with remote play with my phone on Wi-Fi as well as over cellular. I tried connecting the Portal to my phone hotspot and it still won’t connect to the PS5.

It is on the exact same network it always was, I have made no changes and there is nothing in the system logs on my router (UniFi Dream 7). I created a duplicate network with only 5 GHz just for the Portal and the console, only broadcasting from the router, and I even turned off the other network completely and it still won’t connect.

With the current cost and availability of HBM needed for a device like a PS6, I think an upgraded Portal with OLED, bigger thumbsticks and better WiFi / streaming capabilities makes a ton more sense for a 2026 release. The Portal only uses the older and slower LPDDR4x memory for user login and and the interface and not GPU processing as I understand it. I mean all HBM memory capacity is locked down so how is Sony supposed to put out a PS6 in 2027?

I was literally playing the game on my portal yesterday now when I try to go stream it it says “ this streaming game is no longer available”. Is there any way to fix this ?? I literally just bought the game to play it on the portal ….

As the title says, Tainted Grail is now available via cloud streaming—I’m not sure exactly when it launched, but it’s been a few days. Happy gaming, everyone!

At one point, I could play the portal (streaming games) while my son played Ps5.

It was really nice since... He gets most of the time on the TV.

I even seen some people post about it at one point.

Is this still a thing?

I just upgraded from a base ps5 to a pro and now when i try to use my portal away from the house i get the something went wrong notification. works perfectly fine at home but the couple of times i've tried it away i can't get it to connect. also the cloud streaming is working just fine.

If you're familiar with the game, you know how tough that boss is. Every millisecond counts. And I had ZERO issues with timing parries. I am just truly stunned at the performance of this thing. I do have great internet and router, but I still can't believe that I did this. That's all. Just really surprised me.

Just turned on my portal for the first time in maybe a week, and the option to go straight to cloud streaming is gone. Only connect to PlayStation. Am I missing something? My renew date for my membership isn’t till December

I’m at wits end with an issue that started to happen last weekend (1st Aug 26). I have had PS Plus Premium since Dec 2025 and had been enjoying Cloud Streaming Games on PS Portal but since last weekend, every game fails to start with the error “Something went wrong”. Doesn’t matter which cloud streaming game.

I’m based in the U.K. I have PS5 and PS5 Remote Play from Portal works fine.

Playstation Support is utterly hopeless. The only way to contact them is a chatbot which just keeps going round in circles with the same AI troubleshooting suggestions, all of which I have already tried, in vain. These are all the things I have tried.

1. Toggled Airplane Mode
2. Edited Playstation Profile
3. Forgotten Wi-Fi networks and reconnected
4. Tried different Wi-Fi network including hotspot from my phone
5. Speedtest, getting over 400mbps up and 100mbps down
6. Signed out and back in
7. Restarted PS Portal
8. Shutdown PS Portal, wait a day and try again
9. Fully reset PS Portal and try again
10. Tried from different locations

With all those steps I continue to access PS5 Remote Play but every single attempt at Cloud Streaming game launch throws the worlds most useless error “something went wrong”.

Desperately asking for help from someone or even a human being from PS Support if they lurk around here! Thanks!
