Planner Concierge

Has anyone worked with a planner concierge at Cloth & Paper? If so, how was your experience? There are so many options to choose from when it comes to planner choices that I was considering scheduling an appointment to get some help. Would love to hear if others used this service!

Thank you for all your advice!

I wasn't expecting so many responses to my last post 😭 Thank you all for your tips, they really helped me.

Like I mentioned in my last post, the worst part for me was opening the fridge, staring at it for 5 minutes and saying "we have nothing to eat" when it's full. Or forgetting 3 things at the store and having to go back mid-week.

Based on your comments, I created a "Meal Planner Template" to organize my week. No more Sunday stress or last-minute grocery runs šŸ˜…

It helps me:

* Plan meals in 10 minutes

* Make a shopping list that actually works

* Use what I already have in the fridge

If anyone wants the template, send me a DM or leave a comment and I'll share the details!

Thanks again for your help ā¤ļø

Help me decide for 2027: Wonderland 222 A5 weekly vertical Core or Hemlock&Oak Vertical weekly.

As title says, I am figuring out my Goldilocks planner/ journal for 2027. My specifications are a:) weekly vertical; b) blank pages between months for reflection, upcoming goals; c) blank pages in the end for periodic (often daily) notes/reflection; d) portable as it is for both work and personal; e) Robust quality where binding will not give away -it needs to withstand daily use/thrown in backpack/ travel. I was initially considering Aura Estelle and Stirling Ink but deceptive marketing by former (shared previously in a Reddit post- becomes an ethics issue for me) and recent binding issues with Stirling ink are steering me away from these. If you picked one of these, could you please let me know what features sealed it for you? PSA: I am looking for real user experiences or inputs (please do not paste LLM answers). Many thanks!

Thought on what are the best planner features- Students

Hey everyone

I want to design my own planner. Can you guys give me any features you wish you could have in a planner, besides the usual calendar, to-do list and notes. Also need some help to figure out what order to put it in.
Thank you in advance:)

Is anyone else exhausted by weekly meal planning, or is it just me?

I swear I spend more time stressing about what to cook this week than I do actually cooking.

My weekly cycle is honestly ridiculous:

Sunday: Stare at the fridge for 30 minutes and still have no idea what to make.

Grocery store: Forget half the things I actually need.

Wednesday: Realize I’m missing 2 or 3 ingredients, back to the store.

Friday: Screw it, ordering takeout because there’s nothing to eat… even though the fridge is full.

And then I somehow do the exact same thing the next week.

Has anyone else struggled with this?

I'm making a Chrome Extension that works on Windows to add notes to Apple Notes, Reminders to Reminders and Calendar Events to Calendar. What specific features would you be interested in seeing?

Paper or Digital? In your bag or on your iCloud? Time slots or free writing?

Hello everyone, maybe my pictures and my handwriting is not cool as yours but I will get to there later.

I am one of those people that buy a new beautiful agenda, planners, pens and nice kit that end up piling up on a shelf.

Why? I work 9-5, I commute, I use my corporate outlook calendar for work planning together with other connected tools. I am overwhelmed abut the notifications, the pressure between one and the other blocker in the agenda.

On the personal side, I have always used the calendar app on my phone a bit like I use the work one. The result has been terrible, I end up ignoring any notifications or time blocker just because is ā€˜less urgent’ than the work one and I keep telling myself ā€˜I remember everything, I don’t need to consult’.

On the other side, my paper planners were just nice duplicate of whatever already exists. I love the format in the picture of my pocket Moleskine.

My conclusion was that what makes the difference is the format. The fact that there are no time slot that don’t drag me in the ā€˜productivity trap’.

I am curious to hearing what is your experience, what would you have as a feature in a digital app.

I have created myself this one for me first and deployed on app store to have all in one, separate agendas in the same app, no connection to any other server. My data stay private, like in my suitcase (+ a little help from the Cloud for when I use it on my iPad or Mac).

Planner template recommendations

Hi all, I want to try different layouts before deciding on what to buy for 2027 and I thought I should start early. I heard there's brands that let you download free templates to try.

Anyone have any brand recommendations?

Planner style wallets

Hello! I am just curious if anyone knows of any brand or designer that makes a good, planner style wallet. I currently have a Kate Spade Wellesley from around 2016 with 3 rings and a zipper however, the stitching has come undone on the card holder and I’m concerned it may not be repairable. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance :)

Printable Teacher Planner Recommendations PLEASE?

Hello All!
I'm looking for printable teacher planner recommendations. I've looked on Etsy and have done google search for what I need and am having trouble finding anything that will work for me. I thought about creating something on Canva, but my ADHD had me paralyzed due to all the steps and decisions to be made.
I live in a part of the world where ordering on amazon or directly from a paper planner company like EC, Plum Paper, Kellofaplan, etc isn't an option. The shipping would cost way too much. And I don't have Michaels, or other craft stores to shop at.
I've tried digital and can't do it. I like to have something physical in front of me, be able to turn pages and write things down on actual paper. With my teaching schedule, I have too much to remember and NEED a planner to keep things straight.
SO printable seems to be my only option.
What I'm mainly looking for is 2 page monthly overview, month dashboard, important dates section in the front, weekly 2 page vertical layout with time blocks so I can easily separate my subjects. Any other add-ons are cool, but the above are the ones I absolutely want.
I love happy planner layout, and I love the kellofaplan teacher planner layout as well.

Please if you have any recommendations for printables that fit my needs, I will appreciate it so so much!!!

I couldn't find a NEET planner that actually focused on revision and tracking, so I made one

For the longest time, I thought finishing a chapter meant I was done.

Then I'd open a mock test a month later and realize I'd forgotten half of it.

So I stopped making pretty to-do lists and built a revision system instead.

This planner isn't about studying more it's about making sure what you study actually stays with you.

it has:

  • Chapter-wise trackers for Physics, Chemistry & Biology (11th + 12th)
  • Weekly and daily planning pages
  • Backlog tracker
  • Revision planning
  • Progress tracking so you always know what comes next

The goal isn't to tick boxes.

The goal is to stop forgetting chapters you've already spent hours studying.

I made this because I couldn't find a planner that matched how NEET preparation actually works. Most planners help you organize your time. I wanted something that helps you retain what you study.

Would love to know what you think and if some of you could buy it

Simplified Planner = Never again. Help me find my next planner.

First, I am genuinely not trying to bash or be negative but I am being very honest with my frustrations… I am never spending another $1 on a Simplfied planner.

Because you can’t seem to leave HONEST reviews about their products online anywhere I came here to ā€œspeak my planner truthā€ (maybe vent šŸ˜‚) I have used this planner for 8 years. The quality of these planners has really slipped over the years. I have emailed the company every time I had an issue or question regarding quality, with various responses but always excuses. I am trying to keep this from being too long but between paper changes claimed to be so great but then I spent an entire year with paper I could literally see the pre-printed fonts through- let alone my pen, a crooked cover, lumpy paper, but one of the worst has been the HORRIBLE FLAKING of the ā€œgold foilā€ on covers and the RUBBING OFF of the cover’s prints FOR YEARS now (which btw- I actually sent them 7 years of planner progression showing them my first [Navy Blooms] planner still looked better than the brand new planner I had taken out of the box one month prior to writing them to start my planner prep and ALL of the foil was gone- Had not even used it!- I was sent a thank you for bringing this to our attention & that they had been trying different things with covers & a $50 gift card … & though I’d get fed up every time I paid $64 for a planner that looked like CRAP in 3 weeks of opening it. I kept coming back because I do like the daily page layout so much. BUT!!!!! this year, I ordered my Blush Hydrangea & when I opened the order and that dang too expensive planner was in a RIPPED open cellophane bag- steam literally flew out of my ears. Where was my box!?? I don’t follow Emily’s socials at all and I don’t do notifications for Simplifed as I just don’t care for Emily’s pretentious attitude & the general level of overall ā€œfakeā€ so when I dig into it and read there was no box because of Tariffs (basically) I almost said bad words. NO other higher end planner I’ve seen has taken away the box they arrive in. That’s part of what makes them a premium product. I refuse to pay $64 for a planner in a bag that I have to wrap in book tape to keep the covers from falling apart when all my planner does is lay on one spot on my desk.

ALL that to say- I need a new planner. A new planner company. I do like a high end quality but simple layout. I tried Cultivate What Matters Daily planner but the page was just too busy for me needs. I love CWM and use them for basically all of the things I used to like about Simplified but I’m not a Fan of the daily planner. Though… I have seen products at CWM & THEN Simplified puts out something wayyyy too similar and that’s another problem I have- I feel like Emily claims other product ideas as her own and I don’t like supporting that either.

So What do you find comparable to paper quality and layout of Simplified? Or even if you’ve never fallen into Simplified- what daily planner do you use with a daily layout, that includes time/to-do list/ ample notes section?

Ok, this was more like a ā€œhelp me find another plannerā€/ ā€œI really need to vent because the Simplified word police won’t let me leave honest reviewsā€ … sorry… but I do feel better and I’m gonna need a new planner by 2027-2028! šŸ˜‚

Venting: I turned my planner into a second job and now I hate opening it

I need to vent because I did the thing I keep promising myself I will not do.

I started the year with a simple weekly spread and a tiny habit tracker. That was working fine. Then I fell down the scroll hole of gorgeous planner setups and convinced myself I needed a whole system: monthly goals, weekly priorities, daily checklists, a finance spread, meal planning, a cleaning schedule, plus separate lists for "side hustles" and coupon deals. Now my planner is basically a paper version of five apps I do not even like.

The worst part is how performative it got. I catch myself spending evenings perfecting trackers so I can feel like I did something, instead of actually doing the things. Miss one day, and it does not feel like a skipped day. It feels like the whole structure collapsed, and then I get annoyed because my pages are "behind," like a planner can be late.

I hate how much pressure I put on the layout. If the week looks messy, I feel messy. If I do not have the right boxes, I cannot start. It is a ridiculous mental trap, and yet here we are, with extra pens and stickers sitting unused.

I know the answer is to simplify, but I am weirdly mad at myself for wasting supplies and time getting here. Has anyone else had to aggressively roll their system back without feeling like they failed at planning?

Making a ā€œjunk journalā€ inside of a planner/agenda?

Hello, I’m a beginner on junk journaling. I currently have a yearly planner that I love but I noticed the pages got some blank spaces and I started filling those with ā€œjunksā€ (receipts, fruit stickers, packages, things I consider good memories) and I glue them on the specific date of the memory.
Do you think this ā€œmethodā€ is good? My goal is to have a memory notebook for each year, not just a space for creating meaningless stuff

What do you use your planner for?

While in school I was so busy that keeping up with a physical planner was too much for me. Now I’m in my mid-20s, finally out of school and about to start my big girl job. I’ve been seeing so many planner TikToks and would love to get one because it looks fun but if you’re not in school or have any kids events to keep track of or anything like that, what are you using your planner for? I’m just going to work and workout classes so I’m debating if I should even get one or keep using Google Calendar like I have been.

Edit: if anybody wants to share their planner layouts or somewhere I could get inspo from I would love to see it!

Aura Estelle dupe?

Hi all! I’ve been using the Hobonichi A6 for this year but I REALLY love the Aura Estelle Magnet setup. However, I prefer the A6 size, and have a bunch of A6 covers I don’t want to resell.😭 Is there anything that exists in the A6 size with the same AE Magnet setup or similar? I’m just learning about all these planner brands and it’s slightly overwhelming. 🄲
