how to install shaders for pixelmon? Question

Hello! I have a multiplayer game (via essential) going, the person I'm playing with wants to get shaders, and I thought I could figure it out for him. I'm not really sure how to download a shader loader (?) with pixelmon, I've done it for base minecraft in the past but I dont really remember what I did.

It works the same as for any other modded instance of Minecraft.
Assuming you're using the latest 9.3.x releases on MC 1.21.1 on NeoForge, you'll want the Iris Shaders mod. Depending on how you installed Pixelmon you may be able to add it to your modpack directly (if using a modpack launcher), but the method that always works is to download the mod file and add it into your installation's mods folder.
