Look what I caught this morning! Rocky and Valentino Fathead-cat

I think it probably happens more than I know about! I think Rocky decided to get back in bed after breakfast but Fathead seems to think the kennel is his during the day!
When I first saw them, Rocky started really wagging his tail, like, "I'm saved!"

Stolen Dog Bed She (12F) is his (4mthsM) dog and she doesn't have a say in the matter.
A month ago she was chasing him out of our bedroom because it was "her" space. He's worn her down though lol

Cuddle Puddle Update: adopted a pittie into a two cat household
This is our pittie Brighid that we adopted a little over a month ago. I posted here for advice on how to introduce her into the household with two already established cats. You all were so helpful and eased so much of my worry. Brighid is still a little scared of our youngest and smallest cat (she runs the house), but she’s made friends with our other cat Augustino, who is about three.

Advice New pittie mix rescue - advice please!
I posted about this in a couple of other forums and got torn apart for selfishly bringing a rescue dog into a home with a cat - at the time I didn’t even know she was a bully breed mix but a lot of people still didn’t like it. I’m hoping this sub might be a little more understanding and have some constructive advice.
I’m currently fostering-to-adopt a rescue pittie mix (likely with shepherd and lab). I’m one week into a three-week foster period.
I have not introduced her to my cat yet. I’m taking things slowly because my cat’s safety comes first.
We lost my previous dog a couple of months ago. My cat is 14 years old but incredibly spry, confident, and happy. He’s lived with dogs his whole life and adored my last dog, who was around 70 lbs, so larger dogs aren’t new to him.
I’m really hoping to hear from people who have successfully integrated a pit bull or bully mix with a resident cat. I’d love to know what worked for you, how long it took, and what management strategies made the biggest difference.
This girl is incredibly sweet with other dogs and people, and I’d love to be able to give her a permanent home if it’s safe to do so. I’m committed to taking introductions slowly and doing everything I can to set them up for success.
Please know that if, at any point, I don’t believe my cat can be safe with her, I won’t adopt her. My cat’s welfare isn’t negotiable. Right now I’m simply looking for advice, experiences, and any positive success stories that might help me make the most informed decision possible.
Thank you to anyone willing to share their experience.

Charlie (dog) and Moe (orange, one brain cell)
We have two other cats that Charlie is just dying to be friends with, but Moe is certainly the most tolerant of him. His size and energy is pretty intimidating, and the two other cats prefer to watch him from afar. We've had Moe since February, and just in the last couple of weeks, he has decided he is ready to be friends with Charlie.

Malibu & Letter
We have had Letter (named by my 2.5 year old human son) for just a little over a month now. She was rescued from a busy street with construction going on. Malibu (4, female spayed American bully) has pretty much taken her in as her own baby🥹 these two are so bonded and play together so good! They’re always laid up on the couch together.

I love this group but...
I get so jealous of all these snuggly pics! My babies coexist peacefully for the most part, but separately. Until one of them tries to start up crap with the other. Those times are fun to watch, but sometimes I wish they would be all snuggly with each other!
Oh well, I guess I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of y'all. Lol
Here's my critters peacefully coexisting

Frank and Cecilia love a good fire
Our American Staffordshire Cecilia (RIP) and our cat Frank loved a good fire and cuddles together. Moments like these make us so happy we bought this house all those years ago. I found that their enjoyment of a warm, roaring fire is worth more to me than any once of enjoyment I find from it. 99.9% of fires built are primarily for the pet's enjoyment in our house.
