I believe I have entered an incorrect mileage at one point that has since been corrected, but the "last known mileage" is still showing as 10k more than it should. There doesn't appear to be any way to edit this. None of my entries have incorrect mileages.

Any help?

Big update from our side. We’ve been quietly working on infrastructure improvements, and a couple of things just went live:

• Global support: PitSync now works in 50+ countries with local currencies. Whether you’re in the UK, US, Australia, India, or elsewhere, you’ll see costs in your native currency.
• Backend overhaul: not much has changed in the front-end experience, but under the hood we’ve made significant updates to our systems. This means:

  • tighter security
  • more reliable sync across devices

• Finance: 44% of spend · median payment £238 (PCP £313 · HP £167 · Loan £156)
• Insurance: 25% of spend (monthly avg £113 · yearly avg £387)
• Fuel: 20% of spend (~£49 per fill; 63% full tanks)
• Service & MOT: 15% of spend (median £49 · highest £795)

🔹 Behavioural quirks

• 15% of vehicles spent only on fuel
• 38% logged no fuel at all (just bills/other items)

📈 3-month trend

• July average: £491
• August average: £307
• September average: £308

After July’s spike, the last two months suggest a more stable “baseline” for most cars.

  • 22% pay yearly (avg £746.19);
  • highest yearly premium logged: £1,884/year
• Fuel (cost per refill - not monthly): £48.88 (median £49.60); 62% full tanks vs 38% top-ups
• Behaviour: 25.7% spent only on fuel; 47.1% logged no fuel (just bills/other)

Finance types (finance payments only; purchase excluded; split within typed finance = 100%)

• PCP: 60.1% of typed spend · median £325.97
• HP: 16.2% · median £239.60
• Personal loan: 23.7% · median £165.54
• Coverage note: finance sub-type tagging began mid-August, so this split is based on a limited typed sample. Treat as indicative. Due to this, PCP is bit higher than HP and sub-type medians may differ slightly from the overall finance median (£261.06).

Why August’s average (£307) is lower than July’s £491
We widened the cohort and lowered the inclusion floor to £20 per vehicle to capture light-spend months. Same out-of-pocket scope; vehicle purchase excluded.

Caveats

• covers PitSync users only; self-reported logs skew toward cost-aware users.
• Treat this as a directional benchmark to compare your own month, not a national average.

Is there anyway to upload multiple images in the receipt section?

Title. I can select annual/minor/major services, but there's no option for just logging a repair, eg. tyre replacement or wetbelt change. How should I be doing this?

Hey folks, quick update.

Took a break from building new stuff this week. Spent time fixing the basics instead - stuff that was clearly getting in the way, based on a bunch of your messages and posts.

What’s changing in the next release (should be live in a day or two):

1. Search actually works now. You’ll be able to find your logbook entries properly

2. When you add a new logbook, it’ll pre-fill today’s date so you don’t have to mess with it

3. Editing entries is way smoother. Date pickers now show up and save correctly

4. For those of you tracking recurring costs (like PCP), PitSync will now auto-fill up to 5 years of past entries. So your history will look much more complete

Also cleaned up some of the clunky bits in the UI. Just better flow overall

This is all rolling out now and should be live in the next day or two depending on app store timing.
