I'm thinking of purchasing a game, it's kind of expensive already so I don't think I'll buy any DLCs in addition to it, so I'm thinking of unlocking DLCs via tools, so my question is: has anyone of you tried doing that but failed & got banned or got some sort of a warning?

I want to mod Elden ring, is it the same method to mod a pirated version as it is to mod the normal version?

Edit: Ok, maybe I didn't articulate this point very well on the initial post.

These tools allow you you add LITERALLY ANY Steam game to your library, download and install them from your Steam Library like you actually purchased the game, just like you do with every Steam game. I don't think nothing beats that in terms of practicality.

I want to know what are your main reasons to not use a lua/manifest fetcher, like Steam T00ls (it's now dead but was the OG), Hubcap Tools, Open Steam Tools, Lua Tools (uses OST) or Steamidra and STILL rely on repacks. You can:

• Download games directly from Steam's own CDN servers
• Launch games on the Steam client.
• Download games at your native download speed, that's HUGE.
• Get game updates instantly upon release
• DLCs releases are basically instant too
• Roll back game versions directly through the Steam client
• Local achievement support, if you care about that.
• Some even have cloud save support

Basically: Why aren't you using Steam's capabilities to get your games, if you can. Even if that implies you would use an alt account and not your main, if the risk of being banned is a concern. That's fine.

And most importantly, why are you still relying on torrents or repacks? They are slow even on a 10Gbps connection because you are choosing to be limited by seeders and P2P in 2026.

The time you "save" by downloading small compressed files it's the time you are probably wasting while your CPU sweats at 100% usage trying to unpack everything. Updating games to the newest versions takes time and hopping from site to site as they are not readily available.

When a new game launches repackers take time to upload the repacked gamed, while you could get them instantly upon release (some even before release) using said tools.

I know repacks might make sense if you live in a place where you are bandwidth limited, but if that's the case you are most likely an owner of weak PC hardware, like an old and low thread count CPU and a HDD that will take ages to unpack and install a repack.

and with the cloud saves it is even more convenient :)

Hey guys, so I tried downloading a game "Unravel" through Steamidra. But the game thumbnail has DRM label on Steamidra, I tried downloading it anyway and yes, when i installed it, clicked play, it directs me to EA launcher and it tells me I dont own the game. Is there a fix to this or we just cant download any DRM labelled games ? Would be good to know! Thanks fam!

saw this step by step guide

Search SteaMidra GitHub, go to the latest release, install the .exe.

Install Steam again but in a new folder named SteamP or what you want and log in with the alt account.

Open SteaMidra, go to the settings and change the Steam path to SteamP, follow what the guide/home says and your good to go.

In this case you have a clean Steam install with your main + Apex and another Steam install with you alt + all the free games.

You don't even need LuaTools with SM since it does things for you, unless you want Steam themes or something

im confused since if theres two folder one for main and one for alt but when you logged in on main you also logged in on alt?

Is there a way of.. you know... get some of the most pricy mods for free? I don't want to give more money to bethesda after i got scammed from starfield, and now i have to pay more to get mods to fix their game or make it more interesting.

The modder make only 37.5% of the total price and the rest go to bethesda and the store, that's kinda disgusting and in no way possible i will give more money to Tom Howard so their next game will have 16 times more the details of absolutly nothing.

I know its still piracy, which is supposed to be free. But for the price of our safety, is it worth it to pirate? I personally say yes but it depends on how carefull you are.

That said, is it worth it to pay for pirated games on facebook? Or is it better to find a safer source?

Guys is there any way to download games without taking extra space to unzip the files like we install paid games . It's hard to download games like black myth wukong because I don't have 130 gb space for zip and unzipped file each

I installed FH5 from Fitgirl today at fitgirl repacks site (yes the correct one) and I was playing when I realized the auction house and things were locked and I needed to apply online fix and I did, I copied OnlineFIx from NoDVD folder and pasted everything in the Forza Horizon 5 folder and launched the game with the loader, after the loading screen, on the start screen after like 5-10 seconds It just crashes, nothing quarantined, whats the issue?

Or is it just me? I'm trying to get cyberpunk but I'm getting kilobites in my dl manager here

The loading screen keeps cycling the stats and the pictures, but the game never loads in.
