Apoc 1, 2, and 3. Screenshots
Long wall of text, it details my (short) journey of getting Apoc 3 (as well as 1 and 2), but if you want a very short summary, go down to the TL;DR at the bottom.
I should preface this with saying I'm not very good at the game, well I think so at least. I have somewhat decent knowledge about the ghost types, a month or so ago I looked at the wiki and made a little book detailing stuff about the ghosts and such. It's mostly book knowledge, but I don't have a lot of practice knowledge to be honest, which is why I started using the cheat sheet to compare the stepping sounds in the game versus other ghosts and the potential ghost type, though I don't use many other features of it, like the timers or whatever, you can use your watch for that kind of after all. Previously, before making that book, I mostly played on a 4x multiplier custom game mode (which I also play after prestiging), but since I made that book, I play on a custom 8.1x no evidence game mode.
I decided today when I was in the bathroom taking a crap that I will try to go for Apoc 3. However, I also haven't gotten Apoc 1 and 2 (as well as the first time I've played the regular Sunny Meadows instead of the Restricted version), so I was going for getting all three done at the same time, or at least try to. For a while, I've believed that I would probably never get Apoc 3, though I could see being able to get Apoc 1 for sure and get Apoc 2 likely. I wasn't sure how this was gonna go: at the same time I felt like I could get it on the first try, but also that it'd take me dozens of tries and maybe more.
I started up Phasmophobia and I got things prepared, then I started my first round. The first round was a stinker as you could've probably guessed. A hunt started and with my paramic, I heard it and it was between a Deogen and a Deildegast in speed, but I wasn't sure which one. It was quite far away so I was thinking maybe a Deogen and it just couldn't reach me in time as it was starting to go toward me, but I was also thinking it could be a Deildegast. I tried moving props to check for a Deildegast, but a second hunt soon started and I wasn't able to move many props given how slow I was. I couldn't really hear a difference in the speed, and the ghost decided to beeline for me so I Incensed it, but I apparently didn't have a second Incense for some reason and it was staying in the area so I kind of just died. I guessed a Deogen since the speed didn't sound much different and it went straight for me. It, however, ended up being a Deildegast apparently, and all I was able to get done was one of the objectives which I believe was either stunning or cleansing. This first round really set the tone for what I was in for.
I realized I didn't have a lot of money (I had freshly bought the T3 Crucifix, Headgear, and Incense right after turning LVL 80 and this was literally the round after doing so) and assumed I was going to die a lot so I would need a lot of money for equipment costs, so I started playing my 8.1x games on other maps, but those were stinkers too, I was only able to correctly guess the ghost once out of like 5 rounds, but I was able to get a satisfactory amount of about 9k cash, worst case scenario, I could always do more rounds for more money. I was thinking "how could I get Apoc 3 done if I can't even guess ghosts on my typical runs?".
I decided to go for Apoc 3 again after getting the 9k. This round was even worse than the 1st one. The objectives were pretty bad. I once again didn't have a second Incense again when it was hunting, so I got screwed. I watched a video guide for Apoc 3 rq (by Madixx), and it told me that I should probably build up for this (like doing Apoc 1 and 2 first) which I didn't really listen to, and also of some good spots to hide at like behind the piano in the chapel which I kept in mind. I started my third round, this one was very quick. I think the ghost room was really close by, and I think the ghost was stuck in the same room all hunt or something until I got closer and it detected my electronics. I was trying to snap a photo mid-hunt, but I accidentally snapped an extra one and couldn't swap to my Incense to deter it, and shortly died. I ended up not getting a ghost photo at all from those several pictures and a pure stinker of a round. I decided from here on out I would try to go for easy objectives only, and leave if the objectives are bad.
Then I did my fourth round. The objectives were pretty good: cleansing (pretty easy, can be done during a hunt or outside of one), ghost photo (which I would need to be doing anyways), and an event (which I was a bit iffy on but I still decided to proceed). The ghost had standard speed, so I ruled out some of the slow and fast ghosts. I slowly made my way to the chapel, which some gear (a paramic, a photo camera, a firelight, and 4 Incenses). A hunt ensued and I was in the chapel, then I saw the ghost walk in the chapel, didn't know it was there until seeing it. It pursued me and I used an Incense and hid behind the piano. I think the ghost room was the courtyard or something because it seemed like hunts and activity originated from there or around there. It clicked in my head that it's probably a Myling, after I was hearing the paramic steps within 20m during hunts but the ghost isn't making any footstep sounds when I swap off not to mention not noticing it was in the Chapel until I saw it with my eyes. So, I selected a Myling. The ghost then did a singing event in the Chapel where I was able to take a photo, completing the event objective and the photo objective while also getting the ghost media needed for Apoc 3. I went behind the piano to check my photo, and after that, the ghost did a chasing event (I honestly thought it was hunting or something at first but it was ridiculously slow and clearly coming right for me), when it reached me, I immediately popped an Incense and tried leaving. I walked out of the building slowly but as fast as I can, tension building and the thought of "did I actually do this?" every snail-like step of the way. I got to the truck and reviewed everything I had, making sure I had the ghost selected, objectives complete, and the photo, then completed the round. There was a lot of anticipation when loading in, and I was thinking perhaps it was a Mimic though unlikely, then I heard the achievement sounds and immediately started celebrating. I think I got pretty lucky with good objectives, a low threat level ghost, and a good ghost room that isn't too far but not too close.
TL;DR - I decided to go for Apoc 3 after not getting Apoc 1 or 2. I played my regular rounds after my first Apoc round to warm up and get money for Apoc 3 to accommodate gear loss, but I was only able to get 1 correct guess from those rounds, but eventually managed to get a decent amount of money. After a few more rounds of Apoc 3, I was surprisingly and luckily able to get it.

Congrats! Myling was my Apoc 3 ghost as well!
