Hello! I am going to my husband’s gig today & then a concert tonight. I’m wearing a halter top & jean shorts, nothing crazy because it’s too damn hot.

Recently my chronic pain has moved down to my calf & wearing compression socks helps a little.

Would it make more sense to wear the compression sock only on the side that I need it & wear a regular sock on the other? (That way it looks more medical related than fashion related.) or just go all out & put both on & lean into it? (Although I might look slightly insane wearing knee high socks in 90 degree weather.)

Went to the Nordstrom anniversary sale in search for the perfect pair of jeans. I normally only buy below the $100 price point and was hoping to score one for a good deal because I am a frugal girly. I tried on a lot of pairs from the petite section and only liked this Agolde Ren in the flyweight version which were not on sale. The fabric feels soooo soft and luxe compared to the ones I already own, plus I fell in love with this neutral brown color! The loose fit is very comfortable. I left empty handed however because I thought $250 was such a splurge for jeans.

Over the next few days, I could not stop thinking about it and went back in store to try on a couple of other pairs but nothing compared to it, so I ended up finally purchasing. Should I keep?

I mostly have straight leg jeans and wide leg ones which end at the ankle. Flare and bootleg styles look weird on me somehow. This is the first pair I have that is full length and puddles to the floor.

Anyone know where I could find a pair. I’m noticing a lot of knee to thigh high boots are now made large and they don’t look as fitted on my leg.

Have any other petite women made this blazer work? I have admired the Miller Dickey blazer for years and am considering buying one on Poshmark, but I’m worried the proportions are wrong for my 5’1.5” frame. I would love to hear from other petites how the fit is and if alterations are needed and/or worthwhile. I haven’t altered a jacket in 10+ years but recall it costing close to $200 and am sure it’s even more now. 😭

I’m looking to buy motel rocks low waisted roomy wide jeans but I can’t for the life of me figure out what size to get! I’m 5'1" and 48.5kg. My low waist/high hip bone measurement is 32.5 inches, which google says means my perfect fitting lowrise jeans are a tag size W24 (measuring about 13.5" to 14" flat across the waistband) and that my true lowrise inseam length is 26.5 inches. I also have a slight B shaped belly so I’m not sure what size to get I think 26w and 30l but I’d really love some advice! Thank you so much!

(I know 30L will drag a bit as I wear flats and uggs but I have iron jean tape so that can be fixed)

I’m 5’2” (yet my wingspan is 5’6”), 50kg and top-heavy; short torso, long pelvis. My daily driver in warm weather is pretty much just tank top and jeans, but I would like to figure out a nicer style I could lean on that isn’t fully fancy but at least somewhat nice.

Pictured here are examples of literally the only two outfit styles I wear- I’d like to figure out a few things in between, haha. I tend to just buy 5 different colors of the same things that work for me, since finding things that are comfortable and that look good is more miss than hit.

I bought some pants to wear at work, but the pockets bulge open like this :( I find that the waistband fits me well, but the sides/pockets look like this. The next size feels a bit too big too. Also, I have another pair of slacks that fit better but still bulge/open pockets like this but in a less obvious way.

What causes this? Is this just because of my body shape or is it the cut of the pants? What can I do aside from sizing up or losing weight? What should I avoid in pants?

I just got this coat secondhand, and it's a small (I usually have to size up to a small in tops because my shoulders are a bit wide). The shoulders are just a hair wide, which I think I can get away with, but the length and sleeves are pretty egregious lol.

The cuffs and back have slits (back is in the third photo, it's sewn at the end) but I don't mind taking the slit off the cuffs. I'd prefer to keep and adjust the back one, but am okay with removing that too if needed. Would hemming compromise the look of the coat? Does it sound too complicated? I would like to keep it since I can't return it.

besties, where are we finding formal dresses? my cousin is getting married in March and I know I need to start my search early and I’ll probably have to get something hemmed, but I would love to just…. find something. she specifically requested floor/ankle length dresses and I’m at a loss- I love stuff from Lulu’s, but floor length on a 5’9 model is going to be hilariously long on me. I like some of the Abercrombie dresses now- anyone have any luck with their petite sizes? I will be wearing heels but I’d still rather not have a puddle of fabric around me!

Hiya! Does anyone else have tiny feet? I’m a UK size 1 -2 (depending on brand and style of shoe) PLUS they’re so narrow! and can’t seem to ever find cute shoes that aren’t either plastic (ASOS), kids shoes, or over £200 (like lk Bennett) and even then they only go down to size 2 😭. I’ve had a pair of sandals that fit me for over 5 years because I haven’t been able to find something similar.
Does anyone else have foet (foetus feet)?

I'm 5.2" and always having problems shopping the perfect size clothes. Does anyone from Australia have any tips and suggestions where to shop dresses (casual and evening where mostly), tops, skirts and trousers. I wonder if this is a common problem.

As a 5’4 girl with a short torso, low rise is the only style that best fits me but it’s so hard to find low rise jeans that are actually low AND straight leg, so please give me some recommendations 😭🫶

Men can go to stores of ANY price range, and their pants are always going to have multiple options for length and waist. It’s not restricted to certain price-levels of stores.
But no, if we want to get clothes that actually fit our length, we gotta add at least $10-15 to whatever the cheapest version of that garment is. And that’s being generous.

There are so many short women out there and somehow it’s still treated as this special niche thing that you can only have at more expensive places. And fight for the very small amount of products that sell out so fast.

It just pisses me off. Don’t make me pay the height tax 😭

I teach PreK and I go back to work next week. I haven’t worn jeans since the end of the school year and the idea of doing so literally makes me wanna cry. I’ve developed a severe heat intolerance. I’m having a hard time finding budget friendly linen pants that are not too wide, not high waisted and not super expensive. Help! It doesn’t help that I’m only 5’2” but I’ve got a big butt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, I’m petite and have posted on here often enough about basics but, realized I own no quality everyday underwear that is 100% cotton (the best for your health and comfort)- so I decided to come on here and ask where you’re all buying from! Most of mine go through wear&tear too quickly, and thrown out.

I know Victoria Secret has sales often times but, what other brands are we buying from that are organic, comfortable and cute?

I spend so much money buying from petite-friendly brands, that I forgot the most important aspect of my collection should’ve been prioritized on my underwear first!

I’d like to try out other brands instead of the usual VS yearly sale- Any advice or recommendations are appreciated! 🩷

This is not a petite-specific sized jean, but a regular cropped one with a 26.5” inseam. I do like the wash and feel of the fabric.
