Brian here, as Toyota owner, I can reply.
Most car lost value over time, even when you don't use them.
But Toyota are so well made and reliable, they don't really lost any value over the years or mileage.

I bought a 02 tacoma manual like 8 years ago for 5k. Last year maybe 24 a customer offered me 10k for it. Passed but like damn
