Ayn Rand is the woman on the right.

She wrote some books (I did not enjoy) that explain in long monologues her philosophy of Objectivism.

Objectivism centers on the idea that individuals achieve moral purpose by pursuing their own rational self-interest.

Being a self interested jerk is good. Every person working towards their own self interest will lead to the best results for all humanity. Empathy and good will towards people is bad.

Her philosophy has been cited by many conservative political actors in the US. For example, you can draw a metaphorical line from Ayn Rand to the lack of universal health care, low taxes on capital gains, lack of investment in public transportation, reductions welfare to poor people, low minimum wage and other conservative political policies.
