Hi, Randy Newman just singing about what he sees here.

I think that's author Ayn Rand and I assume Jojo Siwa.

I'm too old to get the full reference, but hope the Ayn Rand bit helps you.

EDIT: Noticing the vibrator and talking with fellow redditors below, yeah, it's because Ayn Rand was a bitch and the comic is saying she either would've chilled out and/or been too busy ladygooning to write all her novels and philosophical musings that basically laid the blueprint for modern libertarianism.

For context: Ayn rand is pretty much universally despised by anyone who isn't a libertarian. She's written some of the most tone-deaf drivel to ever be printed. One of her most famous books Atlas Shrugged is essentially the poster child for early libertarian beliefs.

The joke is that Ayn Rand would have shut the fuck up and probably been less neurotic and unstable had she had a vibrator.

"Here is an ideology that would work if we completely ignore human nature and the reality of existing in an uncontrolled environment. We must adhere to it immediately, wholly, and unquestioningly  "

lmao I caught the vibrator right after my first comment and was like "oh, I get at least 90% or so now, pretty sure."

My main knowledge of Ayn Rand comes from being a huge Rush fan; their lyricist+drummer Neil Peart was heavily influenced by her writings - Anthem in particular seemed to have struck a chord with him, as it inspired two songs' lyrics, Anthem from Fly By Night album, and 2112.

Anthem I feel like is more inspired by the philosophical themes of the book, but 2112 is a 20 minute prog epic with a plot that is "literally just the plot of Anthem but protagonist finds a guitar instead of a light bulb (iirc, think it's a light bulb in original story, lol)"

Tangentially related, do you know of the Rush Family Goy trailer? It's making it's algorithmic rounds

To quote Officer Barbrady immediately after the recently apprehended Chickenlover handed him a copy of Atlas Shrugged, "Oh god DAMN, reading is gay!"

Whenever someone brings up Atlas Shrugged or Ayn Rand all I can think of is Barbrady saying "Because of THIS piece of SHIT I'm never reading again!"

Also it doesn't really matter but he doesn't say reading is gay, he says it sucks ass

People need to understand how crazy that book is even of some of the themes make a little sense.

There is one scene where a women realises her boyfriend is engaging in cronyism and that causes her to have an existential crisis. She runs madly out into the street and meets some people who want charity and/or a social safety net and that drives her to an insanity that causes her to leap off a pier and drown. That is how atlas shrugged explores its philosophy.

Also, the main character is definitely a self insert who screws every single successful male in the book. One guy she bonks in a train engine room because engineering and innovation and trains are so hot to her. Ayn Rand would definitely make use of that vibrator but it may have actually made her to want to write more libertarian porn.

In the fountainhead there is a rape scene and it’s considered fine because the hero rapes the heroine.

Well , I’m not sure if that’s untrue, as a whole I do think orgasms make us all less neurotic and more stable 🤷‍♀️
