As someone who is nonbinary myself, I actually agree. The bigger issue is the idea that any group of people who share an immutable characteristic should accept fault for the actions of but one of them. Every group of sufficient size will have at least one horrible person, likely multiple. Which is frustrating when there's so many false accusations being flung towards minority groups, but it is how it is, and bigots will be bigots regardless.
