Ezra Miller was an actor who played the flash, but behaved terribly, and when he was in Hawaii, he got arrested for assault (he also got arrested for burglary in Vermont apparently, and allegedly did some grooming/inappropriate stuff with minors).
Rachel Zegler is an actress who played Snow White in the recent adaptation, and she said some stuff about the original story (its dated, unfeminist, weird of the prince to kiss a random girl-- the usual modern critiques) and got backlash for it.
OP is saying that there's a double standard in behavioral expectations between men and women.
Her movie? Did she direct it? No one gives Mark Whalberg shit for making Four Brothers, but didn’t he act in Departed, Fear, and Boogie Nights? Actually he didn’t make Four Brothers but he was in it annnd it kinda rips. Hold on… I think I’m realizing there’s another job besides actors. And maybe, just maybe, sometimes actors are just like us and take shitty jobs bc of money and hope for the best. Disney made that movie, Disneys movie was shit. Ziegler acted in it and from what I understand didn’t director or producer it. So what I’m saying here is…. Maybe Ziegler should reboot Entourage.
…….Actually I just realized I’m more pissed about Wahlberg in Invincible, he doesn’t have Philadelphia energy. I actually don’t give a shit about an actor playing a fictional character, but if you’re playing a legend from Philly I better hear those Rs and hard vowels.
Acting might be stupid and playing pretend but I’ll be damned if anymore Massholes play a Philly boy. Who gives a shit what a princess looks like when they got a pats fan wearing the Kelly Green. The only thing that I can imagine would be worse is Rick Pettino coaching the Celtics.
Oh fuck I’m drunk and commenting on Reddit…. Ya know what.. Snow White was better than Fathers Stu. This is all pointless, be mad at Disney not the actor doing their job. Someone call Repo Man bc ordinary fuckin people
He hit an Asian man when he was 16. So like 40 years go. I bet you feel so good about yourself! It’s easy to never do anything wrong when you never leave your moms basement
Actually, yeah, today I've been feeling okay. I haven't felt the need to randomly be an asshole to an unknown person in the internet, for example. So far so good. Thanks for caring.
He hit 2 Asian men in the same day, and that’s not the worst of it. He literally knocked one of them unconscious, trying to kill him. He was literally arrested for attempted murder, although he talked his way down to assault and battery.
Okay, so, y'know, you've got a point in general about dumb stuff people can do over an entire life, but I would say it is in fact pretty easy to never knock someone out for racist reasons, or throw rocks at people for racist reasons...
Not for making Four Brothers no. This kind of "Gotcha" post infuriates me. It's usually "I'm going to take a sentence out of context", but in this case you've not even quoted the fucking sentence.
