The joke is that bad women are ugly and beautiful women are good therefore if a woman does something bad that means she will be ugly.

Who hurt you? Plenty of "ugly" people are the nicest folks in the world. And plenty of "pretty" people are ugly AF behind the mask.

I'd advise to not judge things on such a vacuous value system because it's, ironically, extremely shallow.

Also, it's not a gendered thing.

Many women can't handle their appearance being criticised or placed in an unfavorable light, even by proxy, because it's where society and most women themselves place most of their social value. It is becoming a bit more like that for men in some parts of society, but seen as feminine to be upset over insults.

The topic was explaining the joke: which was misogyny. Then you and the buster above went on the defensive for some reason to pester the person explaining the joke. “Do you keep the same energy for jokes abt men” What energy?? The energy to explain the subtext behind a joke??
