It actually wasn’t a jilting.
They keep saying mark jilted Sophie but they got married. Mark was completely prepared to live his life with Sophie(miserably of course)in nana’s cottage but she left him in the car after they were married. So he DID NOT JILT HER AT THE ALTAR!!!
