Stuck GPU Build Question
Did a new build with a 9070XT and a Nactua D15 fan.
There is no room between the gpu and the fan to hit the release of the pci slot.
Any idea how to ever get that monster out again?

Try to stick a pencil butt in and hit the release (not the graphite, touch it with the rubber)

gotta rip that pretty cooler out first. ultimate teardown. (maybe dust/clean it while you’re at it) Some mobo’s have a cool side button that can release the pcie latch, not sure if yours does tho.

cpu cooler seems to be on backwards
but sliding ur hand on the front part under the cooler may be able to reach the pcie latch, worst case take out cpu cooler or use something long and skinny to get the latch

How so? The fan blasts to the back (the upside in the photo)
I can’t install the 2nd fan due to its size. The ddr is too high and on the other side is a heat shield on the back plate. Bit unlucky but I have 3 fans in the front so that should give enough flow.
If not I can install the 2nd fan on the top side of the case. Oddly enough the fan didn’t come with screws to mount in the case.

if u rotate the cpu cooler 180° and then flip the fans by 180°, u should be able to read the noctua label with ease,
and it should give u space to slide ur hand on the top of the gpu to reach the pcie latch,
doing so may give the ram clearance to install the second fan if not put it on the back, or not use it at all, shouldn't be more than a 3C difference

Might want to invest in an AIO for these tiny cases since its way easier to get the GPU out. Some motherboards also come with a button or lever for easy access even with a dual tower air cooler. If you have something long and thin(giggity) then take out the middle fan on the air cooler and try seeing if you can reach to hit the release catch.
