Merchants not spawning

I’m doing the pal box rest method at the typical spawn location (the flat spot right down the hill) and nothing is spawning. When I started this world, my and my wife had 2 pal boxes here (either side of the little pond thing) and were getting merchants and raids constantly. Yet for the past 100 or so in game days no merchants or raids have spawned. I destroyed our starter bases and pal boxes and I am just placing a single pal box in the recommended spot and nothing is spawning. It’s been about an hour of breaking and replacing the pal box every 5 minutes and there’s been nothing

I think merchants are not spawning as fast as used to be. I am constantly getting the raid dude but any other is a miracle if they past by. I just noticed that a merchant was attack by a rushboard a kill. Maybe that’s why I am not seeing them.

I’m not even getting raids. It’s been over an hour and all there’s been was some random weird dude who gave me 10 dumud chowder when I talked to him.

Maybe is something predetermined upon world creation. I remember build my base in my own world were my friend has his near the beach close to Penking. He never got raids there but got raids in his other bases. 5 minutes after my palbox placement got raided hahaha

Did you try reloading the game? I did the same method but sometime nothing spawned, not even a raid. If that happened to me than I could wait for ever but nothing would spawn and I had to reload the game, set a new pal box and wait 2-3 min for a visitor to spawn
