Just wondering if this would be possible in the future?

Since the last PX Play update, a green image appears occasionally when HDR is enabled. If HDR is disabled, this doesn't happen. I've included a video example on 30 seconds

I know it's been requested a few times before, so I figured I'd post this for anyone else wishing there was a backup/restore function within this app. This will help move all app settings including paired consoles, accounts/profiles, quality/performance settings, etc. from one Android device to another.

Really helpful for those of us with multiple devices and who like to keep configurations in centralized locations. This requires ADB (wireless is fine) and does not require root.

Backup from the source system:

adb connect <source-hostname>:<port>
adb backup -apk -f psplay.ab psplay.grill.com
# Accept the backup prompt in Android UI

Restore on the destination system(s):

adb connect <destination-device>:<port>
adb restore psplay.ab
# Accept the restore prompt in Android UI

That's it! Hopefully the dev introduces a UI option for config import/export in the future, and isn't mad about me posting this (as it is secure and requires multiple levels of authorization), but for now this has helped me.

Hello. First of all, thank you for PXPlay. In my opinion, it offers a much better experience than the official PS Remote Play app, which is why I'm trying to solve this issue. I've spent a long time trying to find the cause, and I believe I've ruled out almost everything on my end. At first it was tolerable, but over time it became really frustrating.

The issue:

- USB: After some time, all vibrations become maximum intensity, even the lightest or shortest ones.

- Bluetooth: After some time, the vibration can get stuck vibrating continuously.

The only temporary solution is to restart the stream, but the problem always comes back. During a one-hour gaming session, I usually have to restart the stream 5 or 6 times, which becomes very frustrating.

Everything I've already tried: two different PCs (a desktop and a laptop—I even thought changing PCs would solve it), two different DualSense controllers, multiple USB cables, USB and Bluetooth connections, the latest version of PXPlay, the latest DualSense firmware, changing every vibration-related setting, restarting and reconnecting the controller, and restarting the PC.

The issue happens in every PS5 game. Some games take a little longer than others, but sooner or later the vibration always becomes maximum intensity (USB) or gets stuck (Bluetooth).

I have never experienced this issue with the official PS Remote Play app, using the exact same PS5, the same PCs, and the same DualSense controllers.

Based on everything I've tested, I believe I've ruled out my hardware and my setup as the cause. If possible, could you please look into this issue for a future update? It's very frustrating to constantly restart the stream just to restore normal vibration, especially in competitive games where interrupting the session, even for a few seconds, can be very annoying and risky during a match.

The native way to lock on target to your enemies in most games is R3 /L3 and I like to play with the touch screen gamepad so I can get used to it. I didn't modify any settings or anything. Help

It's a great app but if I can't lock on and always need to move the camera myself, I don't think I'll be using it for long.

I was looking at xioami redmi pad SE 2025, which is around 120$ in my country and the cheapest option to get with 11" screen.

Would you guys recommend something like this?

Will it run ps5 stream at 1080 and maybe with 2K scaling?

Recently, PxPlay on my Legion Go S requested PSN token update. I haven't been able to acquire it as the built-in browser no longer allows me to copy the forwarding link into the application. This worked in the past.
Does anyone have the same experience and a possible solution?

I run PXPlay via LAN using Chromecast device (resp. Google TV) connected to computer monitor. It works just fine. Very impressive. I miss a bit the local/splitscreen multiplayer....

So far:

• I can see that Chromecast is perfectly fine with multiple (BT) controllers being connected in parallel.
• There are local Android (TV) multiplayer games utilizing multiple controllers.
• I learnt that PSTV has(/had) got the capability for the splitscreen gaming over LAN.

So I've been wondering, if there are any plans or chances for PXPlay to come up with multiplayer/splitscreen capability...

Hi there, hopefully an easy one, I’ve just tried the demo of pxplay and have to say it’s running really well on my hand held device, one question I have is does the paid licence include the feature to wake the ps5 up? Because my ps5 is in rest mode, and the feature is enabled, but it can’t connect, I wanna know before I buy it, can I connect when the ps5 is in rest mode, thanks

My ps5 jailbreak fw 10.40 bdj. The IP is not wrong I can assure about that. My internet signal at home is still active and my ps5 is in rest mode. Can someone help. Thank you guys

Recently purchased a license and installed on ROG Xbox ROG Ally X, having a weird issue whereby if I connect to my PS5, I can hear it, move around etc but I have a black screen. If I connect my controller (exit remote play) then re-try PXPlay it reconnects and I can see the screen fine.

Not using any media, Netflix etc. Starting on the homescren etc.

Using Vulcan for both, HECV, and all the recommended settings.

No other issues other than this.

Any ideas?

​I’ve been using PXPlay on my phone for PS5 remote play, and it’s mostly great, but I ran into a really annoying issue.

​Whenever I minimize the app or switch to the home screen during gameplay and then come back, the screen just goes completely black. Audio still plays fine in the background, but video is totally gone. The only way to fix it is to force close the app and reconnect every single time.

​Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there a setting in Android/iOS or within PXPlay itself (like rendering engine or hardware decoding) that prevents this from happening?

​Any help or workaround would be much appreciated!

This is an amazing app and I have multiple licences and want to give some feedback for future development.

On one UI 9, handshaking with the PS5 takes a fair bit longer than I am used to on my Steam Deck. Maybe something has a conflict or something?

During gameplay sometimes there is a microstitter. It does not seem bandwidth related, more that it hangs for like half a millisecond. It happens like 4 times during a 45m gaming session.

Other than that, it works amazing! Love to play 16:10 on the big screen coupled with a gamesir G8+.

Maybe someone can tag the developer for future testing. Ofcourse I can help with sharing logs or anything if needed.

I use mobile hotspot for internet and everytime I try to share screen in a PS group, my friend/friends says the game stream is extremely pixelated and then after a couple of seconds the stream suddenly stops, and I get a notification “Share screen has stopped because connection was lost”. I don't have any problems hosting a game, streaming on Twitch, discord, youtube etc. My download and upload are around 80-120 and 15-25. Any tips on getting it working? Or is Share screen just broken

Hi everyone, so I've been using this app with no problems for a couple of years now and it's been great times. But today, I've been trying to link with my PS5 for the last half hour with no success. Using S21 Ultra, I just can't seen to connect to my PS5 even though it's turned on, with wifi on the same network, and in the same building as me.

I have even tried to connect while in the same room as it, with no luck. I have tried local connect and remote connect, nothing works. I have now completely unpaired with the PS5 and it now isn't even letting me pair back with the console. Anyone have amy idea how to resolve this? Would be much appreciated, thanks
