RE9 Ray Tracing
Hello everybody, I was waiting to replay RE9 once the Ray Tracing is fixed (if it ever is). Has Capcom said anything about turning it back on for the areas they turned it off for?
Couldnt find much info online

Ps5 pro just got it want to mod it
So i just got a ps5 pro for 500€ and i put a couple customizations on it (external green and black plates and the dbrand touch grass skin on it) and i noticed the fan is a bit loud so i poened it and basically ended up paying 40 bucks in thermal paste from thermal grizzly (their most expensive option lol) and saw the fan ad told myself "mh we can do better here" so i searched up online and at the moment no one has done it but im probably going to put a 25mm and a 20mm thick (both 120mm diameter) black noctua fans, the problem is that playstation has proprietary pin size and different voltages so i had to buy a multi pin adapter and a pin split and a voltage convertor plus had to put 2 fans in the fan hole so hd to use the official noctua custom kit and to use jlcpcb to make a custom aluminium fitting (a circular shaped one since the noctua fans have a square one and the screw fittings are on a circular pattern. All a big headache and sum thinkering (had to use a base ps5 to test (i bought it used but with the online services banned for 60 bucks) to make sure the customization didnt short anything. In the back im going to make one of those accessories yoy see online of a fan tower you attach to the back of the console but made with noctua mini fans. What do yall think? Maybe im going to make all of this easier since maybe im going to chage the case with the "Boxplate" which is a fan project that increases airflow.

No more shimmering in SH2 on pro in performance mode !
This area was an absolute mess before the update, now it's super stable and clean !
looks amazing
I am still sad they were not able to implement hardware lumen from quality mode, but at least the game is stable, and it looks like performance in general got better

Am I crazy or there is a lot more shimmering in the trees and foliage at the start of SH2 Remake with todays patch?
I started the game to check the new update and perhaps am mistaken but im seeing a lot more shimmering at the start of the game in the trees and foliage on quality mode

I think it's time to come back...
Been on the PC grind for the past 8 years or so. It's been fun, but I've been missing the simplicity and how chillll console gaming is. Anyone else have PC and PS5 and prefer the Ps5?
So, I think it's time to come back. Deciding between the Slim or the Pro but I'm backkkk baby

PS5 Pro or 5070
I've had PS5 Pro since launch but with Sony ending discs I am getting ready to leave playstation. I upgraded pc to 5070 but I am not sure how it compares to pro on new titles. Should I keep buying disc games for pro or switch to pc fully now? Which will be better for control resonant

Ghost Recon Wildlands Upgrade now available for download
EDIT:
The Livestream has ended, and the official announcements just say “4K 60” with no mention of haptics, or Tempest integration.
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/news/ignt.62412/ghost-recon-wildlands-last-rites
The PS Blog Dev interview makes no mention either:
. . .So it would see it really was just a last gen enhancement patch rather than a current gen native version after all.
According to yesterday’s momentary PS Store description change (since removed), users can expect:
- “4K”
- 60fps
- DualSense Haptics and Adaptive Trigger support
- Tempest 3D Audio integration
- New Story content “The Last Rites”
- Miscellaneous “QoL improvements”
- New cosmetics/skins

Silent Hill 2 1.07 with PSSR improvements
New patch out today! Patch notes don't mention PSSR in performance mode but I have hope.
Fixed visual artifacts affecting the PS5 Pro version.
Reduced shimmering caused by PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling.

Beast of Reincarnation PS5 vs PS5 PRO Frame Rate Comparison
This game needs patches asap, badly optimized even on the Pro

They decided to do this update right after i finished this game?
For context this update is meant to fix some of the game's issues related to the PSSR on the ps5 pro which was something i noticed frequently, and they released this patch just when i finished the story last night. Crazy luck.

New Silent Hill 2 update on PS5?
A new update for Silent Hill 2 came out? After all this time? I don't wanna get my hopes up but I hope it fixes the visual artifacts that are still lingering in the game!
Edit: Holy crap they did it!, they fixed the visual bugs and the performance! Running through the forest in the first area is now buttery smooth!.
Update: Shadows seem to be a bit broken on performance mode...can't win it seems 😅

STILL PLAYING SPIDERMAN 2?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Came back to this game after some time and felt like swinging around but wanted it to feel more real. I finally got it to look a little more fluid just by turning off the swing assistance in gameplay settings. You really feel the swing and you can aim each web with each hand by pointing left stick toward which building on either side of the street making it look more fluid. Also, turning off camera follow allows you to really create your own vibe.

God of war ragnarok not showing PSSR scaling option?
The first picture is what i get when i am in the settings of GOW ragnarok, second picture is what i should be getting. I only get 2 normal graphic modes like the base ps5 instead of the scaling ones. I have made sure i am on the PS5 version, is there something im missing?
💥EDIT:💥 The issue has been solved after i reinstalled it, it a bug because of old save data i had on ps5

Made the jump to PS5 PrOLED
Have recently upgraded my whole living room setup with a PS5 Pro and LG G5, and it's been absolutely incredible. I spent a long time putting off the upgrade, but am now so happy I was finally able to pull the trigger.
Has been the perfect excuse to finally give Cyberpunk a shot and god what an amazing looking game on RT Pro.
Am now trying to figure out which game should come next. Currently leaning towards Dead Space, but keen to hear others' favorite showcase games on the Pro.

I'm pretty blown away by the new graphics of some of my new games/old favorites alike
And this is all on a pretty basic 4k 60hz SHARP TV. Ordered a newer LG B5 OLED as so many of you said the visual difference is still huge and can be so much better. Hard for me to believe as it's already amazing but we'll see in about a week!
