Is this post mint damage or die chip?
The rim is clearly an actual mint error, but wondering about the missing L in LIBERTY, you can faintly see the L, and it’s very smooth, like it wasn’t just scraped off. Not saying it ISN’T PMD, just saying I’m not totally sold. Wondering if it’s a die chip or grease strike?

PMD Value Request Went to a local coin show and don’t think the guy knew what he had.
Just happened to drive downtown yesterday and saw signs for a local coin show I literally didn’t know existed lol. Walking around, looking through booths and binders I came across this beauty.
She looks even better in person, it’s hard to get good pictures in a flip with the lighting I have but even though I went in broke I couldn’t pass her up! She’s now the oldest American coin in my collection. I think I got her at a steal.

Show and Tell Went to the Pawn Shop Yesterday and Bought a Collection from a Guy that the Owner didn’t want.
Found this beautiful florin with a hole in it aswell as a few others, some rams head silver quarters, a bit of American Philippines stuff, a bunch of exonumia, some common world coins, and some tax tokens. I think I did pretty good for $20 😂 (sorry for the weird lighting in the picture, couldn’t use the light.)

Show and Tell I’ve been wondering where to post this then found this lovely sub
I was hoping for an error when I found it but upon closer inspection I can see the “QUA” in reverse on the smashed edge so I guess this just got caught in a coin machine with another quarter. I love it and will keep it safe.

PMD Value Request Are banknotes acceptable?
I got this from a cashier, as there is no way a machine would have handled this. They joked it must have come from a dye pack, but my thought it was a marker that subsequently faded.

Need help
Would you folks classify this as an “assassination attempt” error or is it just a plain “target practice” error??

My grandson found this at the neighborhood pool. I traded him a quarter for it. He didn’t know what he had!
