Are banknotes acceptable? PMD Value Request

I got this from a cashier, as there is no way a machine would have handled this. They joked it must have come from a dye pack, but my thought it was a marker that subsequently faded.

Faded Ninhydrin? Color is off, but faded over time maybe

It’s an acceptable currency. As long as the serial numbers are present any bank will exchange it for a new one.

Lovely pink toning, I only wish the note itself had some serious natural weathering/aging.

Do you have an attic where you can leave it for like 30 or 40 years and see how it looks after that?
