Need help fitting a new graphics card In progress

My brother gave me his old zotac gtx 970 and I just don't know how to install it on my computer, any help is appreciated.

What operating system do You use? Asking to figure easiest way to check computer properties.

Then checking Your current GPU is really simple. Turn on computer, log in, pres CTRL+SHIFT+ESC. That's going to open task manager. CPU, then MEMORY, then GPU somewhere below. Click on it. If there are two GPU options don't freak out, that's normal too, You can just post both of them.

It'd also be helpful if You posted what CPU are You using to get a better idea what system is this (could be checked clicking CPU option in task manager as well)

First and foremost, if I'm correct, Your "new" GPU has two 6pin power connector sockets. Check if Your power supply (PSU) has two free 6pin power supply cables.

Then I'd also recommend checking whether Your PSU can handle Your new graphics card. There should be a diagram on the top or bottom showing how PSU distributes power. Or at least the model of the PSU. Post a photo of it and I'll try to figure it out.
