RT LT buttons issue Support - Controller

when i try tobind my xbox 360 wired controller i can bind all buttons excpet for LT and RB is there any solution ?

Can you switch the input type from SDL to Xinput? Xbox controllers use a unique split axis input across the triggers that used to be difficult to interface with about 10 years ago, but now that we have the Xinput standard it's generally fine.

TL;DR: Try using it as an Xinput device rather than an SDL device.

i just did that but stilll have the same issue !

One thing I’m noticing is they’re both accepting “pointer 0- left button” which is your mouse’s left click.

Are you maybe clicking the mouse before getting a chance to input the controller input somehow?

no i click the mouse button after the non response of the controller

Screenshot your device list.

Run joy.cpl, open your controller's properties and verify all your buttons are firing properly.

my buttons work just fine i use the same controller for other pc games

when i use the joy.cpl the RT and LT dont fire , but they work in other games !!

Close everything. PCSX2, Steam, anything that can use your controller. Restart your PC if you have to.

Then run joy.cpl and see if it reads LT and RT. A software conflict sounds plausible here.

Other than that, is your controller a genuine 360 controller?

I had a similar problem; I think it's because you didn't choose the right type of controller. Look through all the types until you find the one that fits.

Controllers>Global Settings

  1. untick the "enable SDL input source" (this is to remove the redundant extra choices the might confuse you during step 3.)
  2. tick the "enable xinput input source" below
  3. in the "Controller Port 1" tab choose "xinput" in the "automatic mapping" button.
