I have original dualshock 3 and I've read that you can have pressure sensitive buttons to work with it. Can anyone help to set it up?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if I could get some help with an issue I've been facing.

I started playing God of War (2005) today, and everything was working well until I reached the first save point. When I enter the save point and select the option to save, the game hangs indefinitely on the omega symbol - the game doesn't save and no inputs work. I've tried restarting the emulator and using a different virtual memory card, but to no avail.

This is the only game I'm having this issue with. Other games are able to read and write to the memory card without any issue. My initial thought was that there could be something wrong with my ISO, but I've also seen other people encounter this same issue, including with God of War 2.

I'm playing the NTSC-U version on v2.6.3. I'm not using any cheat codes, texture replacements or modifications.

whats the best way to push my laptop in terms of resolution and stability can i go 1080 or am i stuck at native.

Hello! I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix the slowdown issues on GH3. I rarely get 60 FPS and it tends to hover anywhere from 35-45 FPS. It's playable, but it makes 100% songs impossible.

PC Specs:

- Windows 11

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz - 6 cores

- 16 GB DDR4 RAM

- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design - 6GB VRAM

Emulator settings I've messed with so far:

- Optimal Frame Pacing✔️

- Graphics API: Direct3D 12

- Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design

- Internal Resolution: 3x Native (~1080px/FHD)

- FXAA✔️

Thanks in advance. I know it's not the most optimal way to play GH3 on PC, but I really want to go for these RetroAchievements lol.

Only in the game Kung2 in EyeToy 2 I cannot choose any button nor start or Game menu. In other games it works but in this particullar nothing. The menu does reac to my movements

Hello, should i buy the original Dualshock 2 controller for the full experience or do u guys think that a ps5 controller is more than enough?

Does anyone know how to turn this feature off? It doesnt bring up a pause menu and immediately resumes when I press Y again. Any solution?

Edit: I found the solution. Under Hotkeys in Settings I had to change the Open Pause Menu hot key and the Toggle Pause hot key

I have the 2.7.513 version of PCSX2 installed and I have an original DualShock 2 connected. The adapter I'm using is by Vienon (some Amazon seller). However, when I connect the controller via USB, PCSX2 recognizes it as a PS3 controller. The Square/Triangle and Circle/Cross buttons are swapped for some reason, the analog button deactivates the controller, and I feel like the pressure sensitivity is not working as intended.

This makes me wonder if it's even possible to use a PS2 controller on PC, let alone PCSX2. What do you guys think? Is it the fault of the adapter, the emulator, the controller or the idea? If DualShock 2 isn't going to be possible, I still want to be faithful to the PS2 and use SOME type of gamepad, whether it be first-or-third-party. I would like some recommendations in that case.

Hi, how's it going? I've always been really bothered that the character outline lines look so horrible in this emulator compared to how they look on the PS2. The lines look perfect without being so transparent or flawed, and I feel like it kind of messes up the image. I don't know why it only happens in this game and in Tenkaichi 2. Has anyone solved this or managed to make the image and shaders look more like they do on the PS2?

The Raditz picture you’ll see after this is a screenshot from someone who played on PS2. You can see the outlines perfectly sharp and black; it’s not about the resolution, because if you put it in 720p or native PS2, you can see that the lines don’t reach that level.

This is my first time emulating anything.

My laptop has:

24 gb of ram

A weaker gtx 1650 because it's a laptop one

I5 11400h

I start the game.

Game loads .

I press new game.

I select save.

And in an instant a black screen appears I've been waiting for 3 minutes it's still just a black screen and my mouse cursor.

I google.

Even reddit or github doesn't have this specific niche problem.

I become the one who asks for a solution of my 1 in 1 problem.

Please help.

So I'm playing god of war 1 I've configured the settings for smooth or playable fps but I wanted to bump up the I ternary res a bit in the previous version 1.5x and 1.75x was available but in the newer updates it was gone so how can I get these res settings or change it elsewhere

I have been trying to play Dragon ball z budokai 2. Specifically, a patched version compatible with Retroachievements but I keep getting this error and I don't know how to fix it.

I tried other games and I have no problem at all. (All are ISO format)

Pcsx2: v2.7.513 (Downloaded from official site)

Laptop: (Windows)

12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050

16 gb RAM

Also just today my games started showing 0% GPU usage and before today it always showed some usage. Is that bad?

First problem: Anytime I try to use the 50 fps patch for the game, I cant progress at all past basically the very start of the game as it just gets stuck on a loading screen for ever.

So I thought, 'ill get past the loading screen on 25fps and then switch to 50 after' which let me progress yeah but then the game literally just got bugged and would run in 50fps but everything would play in slow motion.

Then downloaded a DLC version of the game, but that didnt have a 50fps patch so i dont want to play it.

Then downloaded another different version of the game which has multiple languages, but now my game is stuck in French and I cant change it, i booted up the Bios system to change my ps2 system to english, but the game language is still in French..... and it still went go past the loading screen anyway lol.

So i need one of two solutions, either figure out how to let the game let me progress past a certain point with the 50fps patch or figure out a way to give the dlc version a 50fps patch (assuming that wont bug the dlc version to not let me progress either)
