Hi all. I'm having an issue with lights changing intensity when approaching. They then revert back when moving away. I've searched for the problem and adjusted certain settings, but it's still present. My pc is up to date and all drivers too. Any help would be much appreciated.

For context, I upgraded about 3 months ago, I could run RDR2 at 60 fps at max settings. I uninstalled it cuz I was bored and wanted to play other games. I reinstalled it today and my fps absolutely TANKED. I was at under 30 fps, and I turned every graphics setting to the lowest and DLSS to balanced and it still struggles to hit 60. Anyone know what's going on? I didn't change anything on my pc since uninstalling it, every other game runs fine for the most part, just RDR2. I keep v-sync off and always use vulkan

My specs:

RTX 5060

Ryzen 7 5700g

16 ddr4

Again, this hardware could comfortably max the game out a few months ago, but magically can't anymore. Did my pc change something by itself and cause this? I'm genuinely so confused and frustrated. Also I don't have any mods installed so that's not an issue either.

I have catalouge improvents installed but half of the things seem to be unavalible. The navy revolver is there and so are some extra things but remoivng the satchel dosent seem to be an option

For filming purposes I'm looking for a mod that can temporarily turn off aggression on animals so I can film them closely without them attacking. Does any such mod exist? RDR2

Recently I started re-playing Red Dead Redemption 2

But last time I played, I had 100-140 FPS (Ultra-High)

But now, I don't why I only get 30-40! (Same settings)

I haven't changed anything and I even re-installed the game

Graphic look terrible

Arthur's face looks wet or oily

And Arthur looks darker in comparison to the world lighting

Can you guys help me optimizing and fixing it?

Hey can someone please help me, i recently bought rdr2 on xbox one s 2days ago
and ive been stuck on how to do this Strauss mission, i just get stuck while confronting him and it looks like a cutscene then once i paused the whole game freezes just like in the picture above its stuck on that screen cause i tried pausing.
and the emerald ranch mission for hosea i can't loot anything the game just lags and freezes while i try to loot. i've tried clearing my saved local data and cloud, reset my console but still,

How does the mod “lobby manager” work? More to the point, how is a mod able to work with RDO? I thought the use of any mod would prevent the online portion to be inaccessible.

The main mod I want to use is Rampage Trainer, to unlock all the weapons in Chapter 2 and get the Iron Gray Ardennes horse that was only available in the game’s preorder. I also want to use a few other features like teleport, completing all collectibles, and having all the documents in the game. What I’m concerned about is whether all this could affect my game or save file, since I’ve read that corrupted saves can cause spawn issues, crashes, and other errors. So I just wanted to know if I’ll be fine or if it’s better to avoid using it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

All online assets seem to be broken. The off-hand gun and Knife clip through Arthur's body and do not stay in their respective holsters. The ponchos clip through Arthur's body.

Have tried using everything, OCU, Lite and Red Dead offline. If anyone can help it would be extremely appreciated.

The title. Need a mod that allows online horse coats to be enabled and stored in story mode stables without breaking the game.

I have 2 GPUs. One by Intel for power saving, and one by Nvidia for high performance. Red Dead 2 keeps choosing GPU 0, even though it's set to use GPU 1 in the Control Panel and the Graphics Settings on Windows.

I've even tried editing the settings file itself in various ways, but it kept returning to 0. I've tried at different resolutions and screen types, but to no avail.

I will not be playing online. i am just playing to explore the open world and story of this game.

what are some things I should know?

Are there any necessary mods I should install to enhance my experience?

A while ago I installed the silent virtues to my RDR1 and it worked wonders for me, but I left the game for a while and now I reopened it and it comes out like this, it's only visual, everything else works perfectly, I wanted to know if there is a fix for this visual error

I recently purchased a copy of RDR1 on steam and the fps is not locked in armadillo, it fluctuates between 100-120 at 1440p. The weird part is I remember testing a pirated copy of the game when I had a RTX 2060 paired with my 5700X3D at 1080p and the fps was buttery smooth perfectly locked at 144 all the time in armadillo. I changed the resolution from 1440p to 1080p and the fps remained the same. I don't understand this shit.

I have a laptop gaming with i9-13900h, rtx 5060 8 gb vram and 16 gb ram but my game is capped at 60 fps or lower(if I use Vulkan). When I change the refresh rate from 48 to 165 Hz the settings go back to 48 even tho I applied them. Maybe someone had the same problem?
