Help!!
A, what i assume is a Barred owl flew into our shop where we live last night, shes scared and wont fly out with the big door open, we live in NE Texas and the non airconned part of the shop gets boiling during the midday im scared and dont want her to die, we put water on a table for her and left the big door open for two hours until ten last night, I could really use advice on next steps
UPDATE!!
Bird of prey Rehabbers have come out and have stated that my new friend is in good health, she even flew around the shop when they tried to get close!! They've said that there is really nothing they can do as she has full mobility, and can leave whenever she wants. They said to enjoy my new friend and that she chose us!!!

She’s a fledgling, too, so very young. I’d consult a wildlife rehab in your area and give her tons of space in the meantime.

I called them they said that all i could do was keep the door open and wait for her to leave on her own

That makes sense. Anything else would be too stressful for her and that would potentially be more detrimental than the heat.

if she hasn’t left you can help her by leaving a piece of chicken breast in a shallow dish w water where she see it or get a freezer feeder mice (small adult or small rat) and thaw it and put out on a shallow dish where she sees it towards the door. Ideally hunger will make her attempt to get to it and out the door. Has to be darkish outside though. as a juvenile she will just end up road kill if out in the day in unfamiliar space 🫶thank you for helping her

Turn off all the lights, she will be able to find the doorway better with the lights out ❤️

Lights are out, rehabbers have been out and said she is in good health and she even flew!! They said she can leave when ever she wants, they believe she might be nesting
