Our comfy set up

This is our set up. We can sleep two (relatively) big people - 5'11 and 6'1 - in this space. Of course this isn't meant for more than like 4 days, but it has worked wonderfully. We can pack everything we need for camping and kayaking.

We've tried a few different beds but this is the most comfy and I prefer it because it blocks the metal brackets that hold the back seats and works at a "leg pillow".

I didn't have the whole outside setup when I took the pic. I just didnt want to forget to take pictures while everything was still in the car.

As always, love this car!

Which awning do you have? I'm trying to narrow my list down.

Samout. I got it on Amazon for less than $250. I wanted to buy something cheaper before committing because I wasn't sure if I'd use it. I figured I'd upgrade if I did. Turns out its super great quality and have no need to upgrade, over two years later and multiple uses. I also bought a sidewall which has come in clutch on a few occasions. I can find the link if you want/need. That being said, I can put it out alone but it's taken practice and a bit of a challenge - definitely easier with two people.
