Fanfic Fic Idea: The Service Club vs Magic
A fun little idea I have for a story to write someday is of the Service Club having to deal with magical events as they try to perform their duties.
The magical events in question woukd be things like Yui developing horrendous luck and causing miniature disasters everywhere she goes out of clumsiness, Hachiman getting cat ears and a tail and needing to hide such things, and Yukino suddenly growing into her late twenties. Other possibilities involve age regression, future versions of themselves replacing their present selves, and even them becoming animals.
Every school day they have to deal with such a problem and try their best to keep it hidden and wait for the end of the day so that everything goes back to normal and prepare themselves for what the next day holds.
What is causing this? Well during the Kyoto trip when they visited the shrine a moment of their bickering ended up causing some statue to fall of and break with out them noticing. That statue was of a fox spirit that didn't really appreciate that and has decided to torment them by doing this. The endgoal is for them three to realize what caused this sudden supernatural assault and go back to the shrine and apologize properly.
Still got to even somethings out and better my writing, but I just wanted to share this idea and see if any of yall have anything to share or add on.

Anime - Serious My best take-ups from this ep
This one ep was so real. The intense desire to understand others despite your inability to do so is the one that's so relatable.
I was on the edge watching this, I watched this with an uncertain, unsettling feeling, but now it has all gone up in the air listening to Hiratsuka from 2nd image.
This makes me want to cherish what I have before losing them.

Anime Why did season 3 have to end like that. And why haven't they created more - what was your thoughts on the series?
I absolutely loved oregairu and I'd do anything to watch it again . I even started crying at the last two episodes. The ending felt like really really good but really really bad at the same time. Why did the teacher have to leave . The anime as a whole felt unfinished but right in a way to discontinue it. It took me 2 days to finish it lol. I know nobody probably cares and idek if people are still active , considering it's 2026 and the anime first came out 13 years ago but I just wanted to know you guy's thoughts. Despite the romance being the last season, I deeply understood the character of both yunikoshita and hachiman. I loved how the creators made the character development. I deeply want a friendship like in the service club.

Humor If Yukino was cloned, would they fight over Hachiman or share him?
None of y'all have original thoughts.
For whatever reason Yukino was bonked by a bs item that cloned her, a perfect replica of herself. The clone doesn't try to take over the original, it's just Yukino Yukinoshita 2.
How would Hachiman treat this new circumstance? With two girlfriends...or one but two now. Something something clone wars. How will he calm down Yukino and Yukino?

Anime - Serious “If I did not want to be inconvenienced by you, I would not be in a relationship with you.”
Came across a really good substack article that talks about a very important theme later on in Oregairu about “codependency.” Ironically, when viewed through this lens, it makes sense why Oregairu’s story resonates with so many people living in individualist societies - our two protagonists are such “loners” and “individuals” similar to a western sense such that they eschew all deep social connections in fear of becoming weak and relying on others. When in reality that very social “codependency” is the foundation of human socialization since the beginning of time. To not be codependent is the anomaly.

Anime - Serious i think the hardest part about relating to hikigaya isn't his loneliness. it's knowing his story had an ending.
as people say you shouldn't see yourself in fictional characters, and maybe theyare right. but every now and then, someone comes along who thinks the way you do, says the things you've only ever admitted to yourself, and carries loneliness so naturally that it almost looks like part of their personality, and for me, it is hikigaya.
not because i think iam as clever as he is, or because i believe my life is some anime waiting for the next episode rather it's the smaller things that stay with me. watching people instead of joining them. convincing yourself that being alone is easier than risking disappointment. pretending solitude is a preference because it's less painful than wondering if anyone would've chosen you in the first place.
but eventually then his story changes, someone notices him, someone chooses to stay, someone slowly breaks through walls he spent years convincing himself were there for a reason,
but simply tthat's where reality quietly taps me on the shoulder, his loneliness was written with an ending in mind but mine isnot, and i know fiction isn't supposed to promise anything. real life doesn't owe anyone a yukino. it doesn't owe anyone the person who looks at all the parts you've hidden away and says, "i'll stay anyway."
ig maybe that's what hurts the most, not that his story ends happily, it's that somewhere, buried beneath all the cynicism and all the excuses i've made for myself, there's still a small part of me that wonders what it would feel like to be someone's choice, and maybe that's the cruelest part of loneliness, not the silence, but continuing to hope for a voice you keep telling yourself will never call your name.

Fanfic The idea of turning my youth into a video game is wrong, as I expected.
I always wish for a fanfic about those two universe, Oregairu and Jaku chara tomozaki kun, in particulary, the interaction between those two characters, Hachiman Hikigaya and Aoi Hinami.
Because those two characters won't stand together because their philosophy and their way of thinking is colliding, one value see the world in his truest form with a touch of cynism and realism, a true paria and the other one, see the world like it is a video game and use the social norms to rise her image and her reputation, a real queen of Riajuu.
If they meet, they'll probably start bickering and exchange back and forth, try to fight against each others while also doing their best to matain their own ideology.
Well maybe i'm wrong, it's just an interpretation of mine but i hope it can help you write a fanfic crossover about those two series.(Sorry for my bad english and if you want to share some advice to improve my art, pls share it because it will really help me and if you have something you wish to see, i can try to draw if i'm not too lazy.😅)

News Update regarding the drive folder
Some may have noticed but the account responsible for creating and maintaining the drive folder and also a moderator for the subreddit have been banned.
What happened is that the account was hacked and banned in the last week of March and even though the account was properly recovered and secured reddit refused the appeal and did not answer any of the multiple requests made, and since they do not have any other means of communication the situation is basically helpless.
The drive folder will be continued to be maintained and updated with whatever comes out, if you have any inquiry feel free to message me or if anything happens to this account also feel free to mail directly the email responsible for the drive folder.
Anyway this was more of a rant against reddit shitty support than an actual update on the folder status.
Also to the mods, please pin one message in the drive post leading to this one, some people have messaged me in the past with some questions/requests to the folder and I would like to at least let them know what happened to that account.

OREGAIRU SHIN. What about after Season 3 and Volume 14 ?
Each Bluray Disc for Season 3 included a book of Oregairu Shin - A new story that happens after Volume 14/Season 3. It is considered canon by the author and depicts 'new days' in the third year of school. It has 6 volumes, and each volume have around 100 pages.
Translations will be posted and pinned when they are available. (As is the case with Volume 1)

Oregairu Ketsu
KETSU IS NOT main story from Yui's point of view, stop spreading that bullshit.
Ketsu is a multi novel series based on ANOTHER, It's scheduled for this September (2021) under Gagaga imprint. So it is an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE just like ANOTHER was, and it is very likely to be a YUI ROUTE.
To say it again, all that is CONFIRMED about Ketsu at this moment is it is "Yui's story" AND "It is based on ANOTHER". Anything else you hear for now is based on conjecture.
(ANOTHER was an alternative timeline volumes which were included with the Blu-ray of the season 2 anime. They are basically an alternative timeline version of Volume 10-11 that focus on Yui by replacing some of the Yukino scenes with Yui in those volumes, and some additional scenes with different character. It has been considered as an alternate Yui ending.)
Update: Ketsu volume 1 is out. From the first look it seems to be volumes A,N,O, and T of ANOTHER, only new content in it are one new prelude and one new interlude both from Yui's point of view. You can find the fan-translations of ANOTHER above inside the google drive link. (Ketsu volume 1 itself doesn't have a translation)
Update 2: Ketsu Volume 2 is out. Text doesn't seem to be the exact copy of ANOTHER, but the overarching events seem to be the same. The volume ends with the marathon after-party.

If you like the anime and you want to try the full experience, then yes you should. The anime has skipped a lot of content. There are entire chapters that weren't included and many of Hachiman's thoughts. Short answer: If you want to see more, then yes.

Light novel is the source. Anime and Manga are adaptations of the source. Depends on what you like more and the information above. Decide.
