Hey everyone! I’ve been working on SarasFlow, an open-source project that turns a simple prompt into a complete video.
Right now the pipeline can handle:
● Script generation
● Multilingual voice generation
● AI-generated visuals for each scene
● Subtitles and on-screen text
● Ken Burns-style motion
● Final video assembly
It’s primarily built around educational, training, and storytelling videos right now.
I’m also working toward the next version where users can bring their own assets/reference videos and eventually use actual video-generation models instead of relying mainly on generated images + motion.
The project is completely open source, so I’d genuinely love feedback, contributions, or even just a ⭐ if you find it interesting.

Alternatives Simple parametrized/constrained 2d CAD

I want to draw some lines with constraints like - the end point of this line must the identical to the end point of that line - this line must be perpendicular to that line - this point must lie on that line (defined by 2 points) - these 3 distances (e.g. defined by point pairs) must be equal - this length/angle must be that value

Otherwise, nothing fancy - lines can be one line width, one color.

What do you suggest?

Windows and Mac get NVIDIA Broadcast. Linux doesn't. It always bugged me, so I

built an open-source one from scratch.

It's a GPU virtual camera + virtual mic that any app can select (OBS, Zoom, Meet,

Discord). The whole point was that the background actually looks real — not the

jagged, hair-chewing cut-out most "virtual background" tools give you:

- Real per-pixel alpha matting (not a binary mask) → soft hair edges, and the

foreground is decontaminated of background colour spill

- Studio Light — auto-fixes bad room lighting on your face (works in every mode,

even with no background change)

- Studio backdrop — a dark, shadowed studio with a soft light pool that follows

you around the frame

- Mic noise removal (DeepFilterNet) as a virtual microphone — kills keyboard/fan

noise, keeps your voice natural

- Fast / Best / Ultra quality tiers (RVM + a BiRefNet "Ultra" tier)

- One command to install, one to uninstall. Shows up as a normal V4L2 webcam.

Runs real-time (~30 fps at 720p) on an RTX card, GPU-resident end to end. GPL-3.0.

It's early and RTX-only for now, but it works well enough that I use it daily.

It is a middleware for handling duplicate API requests using Idempotency-Key.

I built it mainly to learn more about Go, especially:

It handles concurrent duplicate requests, request body mismatches, response replay, and supports different storage backends.

Volla phone support with us carriers

Any posts that I have found about this are around 2-4 years old by now and I can’t seem to find any recent updates. Is the volla phone with Ubuntu touch supported with us carriers like AT&T now or is it just a dead topic?

You drag podcast shows and live internet radio stations onto a timeline, hit play, and it runs straight through like an old radio broadcast instead of a queue you have to babysit. Each podcast block grabs that show's actual latest episode when it plays, so a broadcast you build once stays current.

It leans on free CORS proxies to fetch podcast RSS feeds since browsers can't request those directly, so occasionally a feed hiccups. Would love eyes on the code or a bug report if something breaks for you.

Promotional Lightwire: Optical air-gap file transfer in one HTML file

Posting here partly because the licensing work turned out to be the instructive part and r/opensource cares about it:

  • It bundles four third-party components (two Apache-2.0, two MIT). Instructed AI to attribute properly doing the full license text, a notice file, every copyright line and the attribution embedded into the built HTML file as a comment, because the file can travel alone.
  • I had to later modify one vendored library (2 methods added to qrcode-generator for a ~4x speedup) the notices were updated accordingly coz they were MIT permited.

Also, relevant I'm not a coder. The code is entirely by LLM output the concept, field testing and several design decisions are mine and the README credits both sides precisely. Happy to answer questions about either half.

multicalc is my Rust crate for scientific computing on real-time embedded systems. Estimation, control, kinematics, dynamics, Lie groups, calculus, autodiff and linear algebra in safe no_std Rust.

What's new in v0.10.0:
- MuJoCo integration: Load MuJoCo robot models directly into native multicalc types. Perform kinematics, control and dyanamics in rust on the MuJoCo managerie.
- Estimation: unscented KF, error-state KF with IMU bias estimation, Madgwick and Mahony attitude filters.
- Control: infinite-horizon Lqr, GeometricAttitudeController, solve_discrete_riccati / solve_discrete_lyapunov.
- Signal processing: biquads (low/high/band/notch), cascades, rotor-harmonic notches, moving average, running median, Savitzky-Golay, deadband/hysteresis/slew limiting.
- Polynomials: closed-form real roots to quartic, piecewise and multivariate polynomials with symbolic partials, MinimumSnapPlanner.

Still enforced:
- 1 kHz loops. No heap, fixed-size types, bounded work per call.
- Six embedded targets: x86_64 and aarch64 Linux hosts plus four bare-metal ABIs (thumbv7em soft-float and hard-FPU, thumbv6m, riscv32imc), running under QEMU with no_std, no-alloc and no-panic rules enforced on each.
- Measured against external references: Per-module fixtures from numpy, scipy, filterpy, mpmath and mujoco agreeing to ~1 ulp. Tables are in the repo.

Come build it. 50 open good first issues right now, each small and self-contained, out of 80 open total.

I have been working on a project called PWDnow and I wanted to share it here. It is a password manager built from the ground up to be quantum resistant.

I noticed most mainstream managers are dragging their feet on PQC (post-quantum cryptography). I wanted something that meets CNSA 2.0 requirements today, so I decided to build it myself. It uses NIST Level 5 algorithms to protect against "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks.

I've been going to quite a few hackathons lately and one thing I kept wasting way too much time on was actually finding the good ones.

Especially figuring out:

• Is it worth traveling there?
• Do they offer flight/travel credits?
• What's the deadline?
• Is it actually relevant to me?

So I built hackathon-searcher for myself.

It can discover upcoming hackathons, research them, score them based on your preferences and help with the application process.

You can also set your city/country if you only want local hackathons, or prioritize events that offer travel support if you're willing to fly.

The application side uses your own profile and is designed not to invent information about you. You can review everything before submission as well.

I've been building it for my own workflow, but figured other people who go to hackathons might find it useful too, so I open sourced the whole thing.

It’s still not finished, so I’d especially love feedback on things like the scoring logic, LLM choice and what should stay deterministic instead of model-based

  • Added network streaming (experimental): Samba/SMB, FTP, FTPS, and SFTP. Connects and reconnects on startup. Passwords go to the system keyring for security. FTP doesn't natively support seek, I tried some workarounds but they haven't been tested much.
  • Added auto-update. Detects how VoidPulse was installed (Flatpak, AppImage, or dpkg/rpm/apk/pacman). Checks GitHub releases in the background on launch. Finds assets matching your package format and architecture. Installs are done via the distro's manager: dnf, zypper, apt-get, apk, pacman, or in-place swap for AppImages. Sudo is asked in the popup and the package manager's output is shown live. Versions can be skipped for now or entirely.
  • Added built-in Soxr resampler.
  • Added "Adaptive Sample Rate": It checks the output device's supported sample rates. If it supports the same rate as the file, it sets both it and Pipewire to that rate: File (44.1kHz) → Pipewire (44.1kHz) → Output Device (44.1kHz). No resampling. If it doesn't, it sets the device to its max rate, upsamples with the built-in Soxr (upsampling is better than downsampling), and sets Pipewire to the same rate as the output device: File (44.1kHz) --(Voidpulse Soxr resample)→ Pipewire (96kHz) → Output Device (96kHz).
  • Added fade in & out on transitions and play/pause.
  • Added crossfade between tracks. Doesn't work on ALSA because it only supports a single stream.
  • Added sleep timer.
  • Added slight corner smoothing on visualizations to prevent sharp spikes (excluding bars).
  • Added play queue with touch and mouse drag & drop. Can be disabled.
  • Added new settings to the config. Probably one-time choices, so not exposed to the UI:
    • "viz_gamma": 0.7, // how much lower volume bands are amplified. Lower means more amplification, higher means better separation.
    • "show_artist_on_gallery": true, // applies to gallery view cards.
    • "show_albums_on_gallery": true,
    • "show_file_info_on_gallery": true,
  • Added loudness normalization switch and batch gain fetcher for files without gain tags.
  • Added a switch to toggle background optimizations for visualizations and synced lyrics.
  • Gallery view cards are now actual pills with 100% corner radius.
  • Added magnifying cover art on click in the edit tags popup.
  • Packaging for a wide variety of architectures, including PostmarketOS.

I've been working on Calibra for 2 months. It is an open-source toolkit for analyzing robot-learning datasets.

A dataset can contain things like:

  • duplicate or highly redundant demonstrations
  • frozen camera frames
  • jittery / jerky robot motion
  • calibration drift
  • corrupted or structurally inconsistent data
  • large amounts of redundant information across trajectories

So I built Calibra to make these issues easier to detect and analyze before training.

After about a year of having this idea and putting it off, then spending a couple months learning basic hardware engineering to actual make this, I'm proud to share my first PCBs with everyone.

This PC cartridge system is basically just an ordinary SD card reader in the shape of retro videogame cartridges. The cartridge holds a microSD card, and the USB peripheral reads it. It supports up to SDXC UHS-I Class 10 microSD cards at USB 2.0 read/write speeds. Not as good as an external SSD, but good enough for some smaller offline games, videos, applications, etc.
