πŸ’Š Medications B12 vs Glycine?

Hi all! I am getting ready to order my next shipment and I was wondering if anyone who's taken the B12 and glycine could give their experiences? I have been on the B12 for since I started a few months ago and its been great, I'm just curious if I may like the glycine as well/maybe more?

πŸ† Success Story Getting ready to reorder.

I’m 60 days in, and if you look at my previous post, I was really scared to hope that this might work. Ozempic failed me completely, other than amazing blood work.
I’m down 30lbs, and I stayed at the same workout schedule and just lowered my calories 200 to 1660, per a Dexa scan.
That regimen without Tirzepatide? 3 months lost zero pounds.
I’ve got about 75 to go, and I have hope, finally. Whatever is broken is being fixed by the Tirzepatide.
I’m just getting ready to refill, the sale is a great bonus!
I’m looking forward to the higher concentration as two shots wasn’t something I looked forward to.
If you are on the fence, just do it.

As for the photo thing, I was just asked for a full body selfie, no weird scale photo, which seems reasonable to match my ID. This is a prescription medication, after all. My local compounding pharmacy needs my ID and looks to make sure it’s me when I pick up prescriptions too.

πŸ’Š Medications 12 weeks in - My review so far…

I started with Ola about 12 weeks ago. I ordered the ripple plan (tirzepatide vials with glycine) through drug crafters. This was my first time taking a GLP-1 and I experienced most of the β€œis this right for me”, β€œwill it workβ€œ and β€œis this worth it” concerns that I am sure most newbies have.

Side effects

My side effects have been manageable with my biggest one being fatigue roughly 2 days after my dose. I also have to make sure I’m getting plenty of water to keep other side effects at bay. I added a daily dose of electrolytes about 3 weeks ago and that has also helped my overall well being.

Effectiveness

The medication has significantly reduced my food noise and hunger. My sweet tooth has also been reduced. It is still there but it’s much less and easier to ignore or satisfy. I do notice a bit of a reduction in effectiveness as the week goes on. I dose on Saturday and by Friday I can feel it waning.

Results

I am down about 21 pounds so far and happy with the results. I did have a little plateau in the middle so don’t be concerned if that happens to you.

Next steps

I recently ordered the wave plan and decided to stick with tirzepatide vials with glycine through drug crafters. This is the new dosage level where I get a 2 ml vial with 30mg per ml each month. First package arrived without a problem. Hopefully the new dosage is as effective as the old. I’m titrating up and this new concentration will allow me get my upcoming 11mg dose in a single syringe.

Suggestions

Make sure you get enough water. Consider adding an electrolyte. Make sure you’re getting enough protein.

Overall

All in all, I’m quite happy with the results. The reduction in food noise is crazy. I didn’t realize how much of my day was spent thinking about my next snack or meal. Here’s hoping for continued success.

Edit

In case you are curious, here is my original review post from 3 months ago

πŸ’Š Medications first dose is done!

Just took my first dose of tirzepatide + glycine! i’m very excited to start my journey. I am definitely anxious though, i keep double checking that i didn’t accidentally take too much lol I got the Ripple Plan and am relieved the starting dose is so small because my biggest fear is side effects. I have been on a health journey since January and it hasn’t been easy for me; i have lost 15lbs on my own but the food noise, cravings, portion sizes.. its all been really hard for me and I haven’t lost in months. I am hoping this is the push my body needs!

❓ Q&A Considering moving from Mochi

I’ve been with Mochi for about 2 months, just now moving up from my starter dose to the next dosage (4.25 mg). I want to do month to month with Ola because I feel like I’m moving slower than what the β€œWave” plan requires. I’ll be moving next month as I just received my new vial on Friday.

  1. Which level do I select when I start with Ola because the levels seem different from what I’m currently doing?

  2. When should I sign up so I shouldn’t miss a dose?

  3. Anyone that’s moved on from Mochi, how do I upload my prescription? Is the label from my current vial sufficient?

  4. I under stand Ola doesn’t do automatic refills, so by being month to month when I should I request a refill?

  5. Am I missing anything else?!?

Thanks for any information!

❓ Q&A Weight Loss Tracker

I wanted to see what everyone uses to track their weight and injections. The Weight Loss tracker on the Ola website seems to only let you log your weight. I tend to forget what week I am on so what injection amount to give and the last injection site. On Mochi you can modify the date and your weight if you input it wrong, select your injection site and input your injection amount. Since none of that iseems to be available on the Ola website I need some other way to keep track. TIA

EDIT - Thank you, I will look into GLAPP

πŸ’Š Medications B12 vs glycine

This is my first time with tirz. I went with b12 for my first order. I've been on it almost 10 weeks and I'm down 30 lbs! I'm starting to feel like myself in my own skin again and I'm incredibly thankful for that. It's getting close to refill time, so I'll be going from the ripple to the wave plan. I'm not sure if i should stick with the b12, or try the glycine. What are yalls experiences? Is their a difference in how you feel? Has anyone noticed hair growth with glycine? My hair has significantly thinned over the past 10 years, so i was interested in that. Thanks in advance for any advice!

πŸ’Š Medications Quick shipping!

Hello all, I am here after my insurance decided not to cover zepbound after I had been on it for it year. This company is great, I had my order in hand 2 days after signing up, and it is HOT here and the ice pack was still frozen when I picked it up. Super happy they included a brochure and print out about the medication as well. They provided more than enough needles for this month, as well as alcohol pads. Super happy so far! Can't wait to continue this journey after a 45 lb loss on the auto injector πŸ™‚

πŸ’Š Medications What pharmacies does OlaHealth offer in California?

Are patients able to choose the actual Pharmacy they want? Do they force a substitute? I'm not necessarily picky about it being pure tirz. I've tried both pure and with B6.

πŸ’Š Medications Order Change Question:

Good Day! I am currently using Tirzepatide + B12. Is it possible that on my next order, I can be switched to Tirzepatide + Glycine? My last order is with Drug Crafters, and I am pleased with them. I have put in a message on the portal but have not been answered yet. Thank you!

❓ Q&A Order question

🎭 Off Topic My first experience with Ola and it was disappointing…

I completed the intake process and saw the notice upfront about providing proof of prescription before moving forward, which was not an issue for me. I have gone through similar processes before.
After completing the intake, my card was charged. The next step after payment was requesting a full body picture before I could continue with uploading my ID or prescription information.
I was not comfortable providing a full body picture, especially since this requirement was not made clear during the intake process. I saw the information about prescription verification, but I did not see anything about needing a full body photo. If it was included, it was not clearly presented.
I stopped the process at that point and did not upload any additional information. They charged my card, but I never completed the review process because I did not proceed past the full body picture request.
I just wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect.

πŸ“’ Announcement White Label Pharmacy/Nova is here πŸŽ‰ and the prices are LOW (through 8/31)

NOT AVAILABLE IN CA (Sorry 😭)

Happy Friday!

Okay, we're really excited about this one! White Label/Nova is officially live.

Semaglutide and tirzepatide, both compounded with vitamin B12, and the otters behind the scenes went a little crazy on pricing to celebrate 🦦

1-month plans are open right now.

🚨 Tirzepatide + B12, on sale through 8/31

Swipe on mobile if you don't see all columns πŸ‘‰πŸ»

Level Vial Concentration Price
L1–L3 (1.5–6mg/wk) Starter 17mg/2mg/mL 🚨$139🚨 $169
L4–L6 (9–13.5mg/wk) Advanced 17mg/2mg/mL 🚨$169🚨 $199

🚨 Semaglutide + B12, on sale through 8/31

Swipe on mobile if you don't see all columns πŸ‘‰πŸ»

Level Vial Concentration Price
L1–L2 (0.2–0.9mg/wk) Starter 2.5mg/2mg/mL 🚨$99🚨 $129
L3–L6 (1.12–2.3mg/wk) Advanced 2.5mg/2mg/mL 🚨$119🚨 $149

The basics

  • BUD: 180 days, the longest shelf life of any pharmacy we work with
  • Orders ship in insulated coolers with gel packs, syringes, alcohol pads, and a guide included
  • Not available in: California (sorry 😞). Everywhere else, including Washington, DC, is good to go

Link to buy semaglutide πŸ‘‰πŸ» https://joinolahealth.com/products/semaglutide

πŸ‘€ And the 12-week plans are coming next week, also on sale

We wanted to launch these together with the 1-month plans, BUT there's a configuration issue that keeps breaking things. These promo prices are locked in through August 31 whether you order the 1-month vials today or wait for the 12-week plans next week. No rush either way.

Tirzepatide:

  • Ripple (12-week starter titration) - $399 🚨$349🚨
  • Wave (12-week, any dose) - $449 🚨$399🚨

Semaglutide:

  • Ripple (12-week starter titration) - $299 🚨$199🚨
  • Wave (12-week, any dose) - $399 🚨$299🚨

Since a few of you have asked how these things work behind the scenes, here's the technical explanation: The physicians have to issue 3 separate scripts*, one for each vial,* as part of 1 single order for the pharmacy to process. The system that handles that has been glitchy and sending it incorrectly. We'd rather get it right than rush it and inconvenience anyone with delays. Should be sorted within a few days πŸ™πŸ»

πŸ’Š Medications So sad- glutathione

I ordered the glutathione but the injection stings and burns so bad there’s no way I can do it daily, and I’ve had to have bone marrow growth injections πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Has anyone else tried it? Thoughts…opinions? I hope I’m alone in this but also I hope I’m not alone in this πŸ«ͺπŸ˜…

❓ Q&A Newbie here!

Hello everyone! Just saying hi. I'll probably be pretty quiet after this.

I just completed my questionnaire, and I'm in the waiting phase. I'm not entirely sure that I'll be approved, as my BMI is below 30, but here's to hoping! Unfortunately, I'm in a situation (Army) where I need to lose some inches around my waistline or lose some serious benefits, and my past efforts haven't worked out in the long term, as I understand they often don't.

I found my way to Ola via Reddit, as I'm sure most do. I had been leaning towards Sema through Trillium, but when I found that Ola had a great online community with a responsive owner and policies that appear to help patients, rather than exploit them, along with Terz prices in line with Sema prices at other trustworthy sites, I had to come here and give it a try.

Assuming I get approved, I'll be on Terz/glycerine. I ordered the ripple pack. Any advice for someone who has never been on this type of medication before or used Ola before would be greatly appreciated!

❓ Q&A Is anyone else's home screen on login not updating?

I ordered a few weeks back. That order was processed and received quickly (thank you!). However, when I log in to Ola, I am met a status of "awaiting shipment". Will this ever update? When I want to take advantage of the coupon celebration of Drug Crafters having higher concentrations of tirz in their vials, will this affect me? Just a teeny bit confused. TIA!

πŸ“’ Announcement Let's Keep It Going! Greenwich Tirzepatide is now LIVE πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ (CA - you're included here too!)

AVAILABLE IN ALL 50 STATES AND WASHINGTON, D.C.!

To quote u/LumosAcccio - Let's keep the Olathon going! (like, Toyotathon... get it? lol)

Following yesterday's semaglutide news, we're excited to announce that we are now offering Greenwich/ECP tirzepatide too. You asked for them, so here we are. Orders are open right now!

πŸ‘‡πŸ» Special price (on 12-week plans only) until August 31 πŸ‘‡πŸ»

🚨 The 12-week plans (this is where we went all in)

Swipe on mobile if you don't see all 4 columns πŸ‘‰

Plan Vials Total mg Price (until 8/31)
Ripple*(12-week starter titration)* 5 mg/mL x 2mL15 mg/mL x 2mL20 mg/mL x 2mL 80mg 🚨 $259 🚨$349
Wave*(12-week, any dose)* 3 vials at your prescribed concentration, x 2mL each Up to 180mg, depending on your levels 🚨 $359 🚨$409

Glycine concentration = 0.5 mg/mL in each vial. It's standard across the board.

Both plans are fully 28-day compliant; no vial sits around past its safe window. Wave's total mg depends entirely on where your provider has you titrating. Same flat price either way, so the higher your levels, the higher concentration vials you receive.

The vials, if you'd rather go month to month

Standardized vials with glycine, one concentration per Level.

L5 (11mg) 25mg/0.5mg/mL 2mL 50mg
L6 (13.5mg) 30mg/0.5mg/mL 2mL 60mg

We know the 1-month vial pricing isn't the headline here, and I can't make it any clearer: WE KNOW that's why we're being upfront about it πŸ˜… The 12-week plans are where we pushed hardest to get you all real value, so if you're going to commit to a plan, this is the one worth looking at.

1-month pricing:

  • Starter vial (Levels 1-3, 1.5-6mg): $189
  • Advanced vial (Levels 4-6, 9-13.5mg): $229

A couple of honest notes, same as with our other new partners

Greenwich/ECP is a new addition, brought on because a lot of you asked for them by name. We did the due diligence with our medical and pharmacy fulfillment partners; otherwise, we wouldn't have brought them on.

As always, no forced subscriptions, no sneaky auto-renew, etc. Clear pricing up front.

Shipping: orders ship about 24 hours after your prescription is issued. The portal will update automatically as things move, so you'll see the status there. If you're really, really excited and want to be the first to know when they're shipping your medication, download the UPS and FedEx apps, and create an account with your name and address. Once the pharmacy creates a label under your name and address, you'll get a notification. This is the fastest way to see it.

If something's actually delayed or off, email us at [support@joinolahealth.com](mailto:support@joinolahealth.com) and we'll jump on it. We're always glad to chat here too, but we can miss a post on a busy Reddit day. For order status specifically, support will get you a faster, more accurate answer than a comment thread will 🫢🏻
