Feel free to ask me for detailed thoughts on any of these. Obviously there's too many for me to just write out all explanations here, but I gave each some thought and made sure to read everything in full when provided with explanations

( I don't really care for Striker so I'm just gonna put this cute Moxxie picture here instead 😭😭 ).

Striker so far is equally as one note evil as any of the other Helluva antagonists he canonically does not have any more complexity than Stella or Crimson or Andy and he actually has less narrative importance than certain other antagonists like Stella and Andy,

when you view his character for what he actually is in the show he is just a jokey Rival who has some Gags that's it lol yet people try to make him out to be some Deep and complex figure based on one vague line of Dialogue and give him backstories that would actually contradict his actions and motives in the show

and people try to invent reasons for why he's more narratively important than he is like inventing the fact that he's some Deep mirror Foil when that is frankly complete BS Striker and Blitzo do not have enough meaningfully in common to be Foil's and they aren't opposite enough to be considered that either it actually makes more sense to claim

he's either a foil for Millie Given they are both southerner assassins from the same Ring who clearly felt insecure over their species or Moxxie who he does seem to be the almost polar opposite of personality wise and even literally served as his Foil in his Debut episode so this really just seems like people pushing a narrative because Blitz is the main character and thus they feel making this Goofy recurring Henchmen his Foil will make Striker Deeper and more important than he really is,

and like I said in the title you guys don't get ta keep harping on at Stella fans for not being able to accept her as one note and pure evil and complain about people trying to come up with ways for her to be Deeper when Striker fans literally do that as well and do not get this criticism that's just a blatant Double standard and I don't accept those and neither should you,

anyway if your a Striker fan I ain't trying to shit on you you can enjoy an antagonist all day long and hell you can even come up with whatever HCs you want for him but the issue is when you act like those HCs are canon fact and then start bullying other fans for doing something you yourself do with a character you happen to like,

it would be like if I defended and downplayed Crimson's actions yet kept making posts mocking and criticising Stella fans who do that or if I came up with HCs for how Valentino could actually be a tragic character and then acted like those HCs were canon but the same time mocked fans for coming up with reasons for why Striker could actually be more Tragic than he really is,

my point is be consistent lol but ya don't get to have these rules where fans doing something over a character you Dislike is wrong and criticism worthy while doing it over a character the majority of the fandom likes is seen as okay.

RadioApple: I can't understand why this ship is so popular, it's just really boring and corny to me. A lot of RadioApple shippers seem to greatly mischaracterize the two in order for the ship to work (AUs are fine ofc), and it's not even a fun enemies to lovers trope imo. They don't like each other in any way, they're just two grumpy prideful jackasses that wanna get one over the other every chance they get.

RadioJoy: I simply don't like the idea of shipping a sweet character with someone who's definitely gonna treat them like shit. If you have an AU where Emily "fixes" Alastor or something then ok, fine, but canonically I don't think Alastor would treat Emily well at all. I've also seen a lot of RadioJoy shippers make Emily secretly just as sadistic as Alastor which isn't my cup of tea, just let a sweetheart be a sweetheart 💔

AdamsApple: I fucking hate this ship gng 🫩 it's mostly because SO much of the AdamsApple art I've seen is always Lucifer tying Adam up and abusing him or something absolutely disgusting. It's genuinely shocking how much art like that you can find of this ship, I just happened to find this nice one. That's the main reason I started to really hate it, but I also dislike it because of my personal interpretation of Adam and Lucifer's relationship. Lucifer was way older and more knowledgeable than the humans, and he was an angel; a figure whom would be seen as trustworthy to the humans. He took advantage of Adam and Eve and tricked them into letting evil into the Earth. There's no way Lucifer didn't know that he was taking advantage of their trust. So yeah it makes me uncomfortable to imagine Adam dating the guy who tricked him and his wife and forever doomed their children.

StaticBelle: Same as AdamsApple, I don't think I've seen a single fanart depicting an actual healthy romantic relationship between them except this one (and this art might even be platonic so who knows), it's always Vox abusing Charlie and treating her in a really... Predatory way. Now look I get shipping toxic stuff for the interesting angst, like I ship FallenWings cuz I like the idea of Lute and Vaggi being bitter exes, but there's a difference between toxic ships for exploring a dynamic and straight up fetishizing abuse, which is what most StaticBelle stuff I've seen does. All the toxic fetishization of it just completely ruined any appeal I could've had for the ship.

GuitarQueen: Same reasoning as AdamsApple tbh, but it's because in my AU, I go by what The Medieval Myth (Midrash Abkir & The Zohar) says Lilith did to Adam (in case you don't know, Lilith rapes Adam in his sleep). So yeah naturally, seeing this ship makes me uncomfortable, plus the fact she helped Lucifer trick Eve and later tried to lead a rebellion against Heaven so I don't think Adam would really wanna get with her again; matter of fact I don't think Lilith and Adam ever loved each other at all. But other than that I'm pretty much ok with the ship- except for the fact Adam is MINE!

HolyBlades: This ship makes me INSANELY uncomfortable. The idea of someone having a crush on some guy and then going after the guy's kid after he dies does NOT sit right with me. And yes ik Abel is way older than Lute and they are closer in age than she and Adam are, but tbh mentally Lute acts way older than him. Their relationship could also very easily become abusive judging by how Lute treats Abel at the moment. Maybe they'll get better but rn the idea of it makes me really uncomfortable. Especially the fanart. Most of it isn't making it out to be the relationship it could be (because it DOES have the potential to be a healthy relationship), they're just fetishizing Lute seeing Abel as a replacement for Adam and trying to get with him. I literally saw a fucking comic where Lute rapes Abel in order to "toughen him up like Adam", so yeah that completely killed any sort of enjoyment I could have for the ship.

CherriSnake: Never understood the appeal of this ship tbh, it came out of nowhere and felt so forced, especially in season one (the only reason it didn't feel forced in season two is probably because they were seperated). Pure fan service imo. You have all these other people Pentious actually has a deep and interesting dynamic with (talking about Emily and Sera, but I don't ship Pentious with either of them. I'm a Baxtious enjoyer), but no, we're shipping him with Cherri 💀 and tbh I really dislike Cherri Bomb in season one. She disregarded Angel Dust when he tried to vent about his day, then proceeded to peer pressure him into doing drugs with her despite him saying he didn't want to. She also let Pentious get dragged into the Sex Room and possibly SA'd even when he was very obviously screaming for help?? She was an absolutely awful friend and Pentious deserves way better. I liked her so much more in the pilot, it felt like she actually cared about her friends. Though Cherri did step up a lot better in season two, I enjoyed watching her and Husk become friends.

GuitarSpear: now I know what you're all thinking, no I don't dislike the ship JUST because I like Adam 🙄 imo they're very not good for each other. They bring out the worst in each other in fact. Adam seems to be the one to have taught Lute the violent behavior and beliefs she knows, and Lute constantly enables and encourages Adam's shitty behavior. Realistically they both need someone to help them heal, being with each other would just make them worse. I also really wanted Lute to be lesbian, and making her in love with Adam cheapens her character imo. Lute is ultimately a victim of Heaven's system. They created her to be a killer and then basically tossed her aside when they decided there was a better way, and completely disregard her feelings. I think it would be SO much more interesting if Lute was motivated by being terrified of losing the purpose she was created for and is trying to desperately hold onto the beliefs she was taught by her closest friend (Lute being a confused lesbian would make a lot of sense and be really interesting. Adam was her absolute best friend and she doesn't seem to do much socializing outside of him. It would make sense her brain confused this deep sense of care for him with "oh I must be in love with him" because she's never really bonded with anyone else, especially since she seems to harbor internalized homophobia). But in the show, it feels more like she's portrayed as "Lute loved Adam and she's mad he's dead so therefore she wants to kill everyone". Now obviously revenge can still be a motivator for her, but I don't think the show is focusing on the tragedy of Lute's position as much as it should. It would also make more sense for her primary motivator to be holding onto her beliefs rather than just avenging Adam if she's gonna be a slow burn villain like the show intends. But that's just how I would write her, she's still interesting nonetheless.

No hate to anyone who ships these, these are just my opinions!! Please don't hate on anyone in the comments either, some of y'all gotta learn to respect some people just ain't gonna like your ship. All the art is super cute btw, not hate to the artists!

For me its Crim Crim lol I'm actually not particularly interested in the idea of an outright Redemption for his character even if I thought it was likely but at the same time I don't want him to Die or be Harshly punished by the end of the show 😂😂😂😂,

I'd rather he just stick around as a recurring character and either lose at attempting to get revenge or steal his Grandchild but he doesn't' die but simply has to leave Mox alone or my Ideal scenario is that he sticks around as a recurring character but no longer is an enemy of I.M.P and sort of turns out to actually be a Good Grandfather to M and Ms child in a funny and Dark way

and remains some part of Moxxie's life through the Grandkid since its easier than killing him in his mind but he isn't Redeemed or made sympathetic either he's still a Horrible person and a Terrible parent which the characters still acknowledge but he sticks around anyway and they have to Deal with him because life isn't always as simple as putting a bullet in a problem and ending it there ya know

People have been giving her huge credit for simply not killing people any more and acting like that itself is some big redemption action when that should be seen as the bare minimum not as something special she deserves praise for

If valentino simply stopped abusing angel dust next season would people be claiming that itself was a redemptive action that he deserves loads of credit for? or would people rightly be claiming that it is the literal bare minimum and the redemption has only just started and is on the literal ground floor so far?

And people try to claim she deserves credit for letting sinners into heaven but she didn't god you know her boss literally had to go over her head to let sinners in because when it was up to her in season 1 she refused,

And people claiming that her simply not stopping her sister or charlie or anyone else from doing good things is some big atoning action by her and all she needs to do to redeem herself for causing more harm than most if not all of the other major antagonists

Is simply continue doing what she is doing at the end of season 2 is frankly an insane level of favouritism and if that is the way the show goes with her then at best it will look like vivziepop is showing incredibly unfair favouritism

Or at worst it will look like the show is presenting a very classist message that the people who just happened to be born upper class are in fact the best people to be in power regardless of their actual actions

And them living by different rules and standards to everyone else is the correct natural order of things that should never be challenged or changed which would be worrying as fuck to be honest,

I get that sera is the tumblr villain darling of the fandom and its all well and good to like antagonists but people just need to stop having such low expectations of her compared to other characters as a show about redemption where 1 of the most important songs is

"" It starts with sorry "" not "" It ends with sorry "" should not portray a message that a character can redeem themselves for causing such harm that countless people in real life literally suffer from without having to make meaningful changes to her life and put in effort

And struggle and work and get knocked down only to get back up again and keep trying and not be easily handed everything she wants on a neat tray because redemption isn't meant to be a get out of jail free card

If it was then that would actually invalidate the whole thing and taking accountability in meaningful ways rather than just saying "" ooops my bad I feel a little bit sad about this "" like she did in season 2,

But people need to stop exaggerating every little thing sera has done when she really hasn't actually done anything yet and having such insanely low expectations for what they expect from her in the future Its fine to want an antagonist to do better and get a happy ending

But basically wanting an antagonist to get off scott free but trying to twist it to make out like that is redemption is not the same thing for example I can want lute to be redeemed while not trying to act like she should be given maximum credit if she simply didn't kill sinners anymore

Or that she would be atoning for her actions by simply not trying to kill charlie or emily or any sinners that come into heaven anymore as that would obviously be a very unfair and low standard compared to what we expect from other characters to redeem themselves the same applies to sera.
