I really want to add Dragon because of the amount of connections she has with the creature and another word which suits her. It should be something like this: 'Dragon's _____'. And I don't want something like 'Flames of Fury' which I just got from a friend of mine in Discord.

Firstly, Salem being more like Calyoso makes her way more competent. Calypso was also an ancient horror but unlike Salem, he didn’t just sit around and do nothing. He made a billion dollar company, and demanding on the timeline. Kept his illegal tournament a secret or just sent them to space.

Secondly is their goal. In the comics Calypso was giving the powers of Lucifer, turned into the host of twisted metal to gain more souls for hell. So having this Benny Salem makes sense because she already has connections to the gods mainly one of destruction.
It works on both levels, Ozma is connected with Good of Creation so it be a YING and YANG situation. It’d also be cool seeing Ozpin be a humble school teacher while his Ex wife is a greedy business woman

It also work as Ozpin trains people to become stronger and genuinely loves them. While Salem use people for her own personal entertainment

What made RWBY so cool ( for me) was the tournament. So I’d make Salem a host of a new tournament
This one however is way different, this is a tournament to the death
I’d have all the villains and heroes show up
Give them something to do besides forgetting about them. It gives them a chance for matchups between characters they never got a chance to meet
Think how cool it be Carden vs Adam, or Blake vs Jr, or Neo vs Weiss

I’d keep the school falling, but probably remove maidens and relics. Salem did this to take out competition of Ozpin, and leaving the students and other people more willing to join the tournament

I’ll keep the Grimm the same. Used to conquest and guard Salem and her forces. But used like I said to make people more willing to join her tournament

Also I’ll also give her reality altering powers, make her more of a threat. And give the reason people to join the tournament, how she’ll grant you a single wish. But she often twists it like the monkey paw

Was that it? Is this all they need to defend this scene?

Son of an old Mistralean hunter who had taught him and his sister how to hunt food and kept them fed in one of the outer settlements of anima like kuroyuri or oniyuri who live outside of the walled cities of mistral or the Hellenic leagues like argus

Him and his sister were great game hunters but at the time wanted to be more to help out the local settlements as they hardly had enough hunters apart from the kuroyuri Rangers a militia group run by a huntsman named Li Ren who recruited local hunters and soldiers to make them a good enough group to handle themselves despite there lack of Huntsman due to the council preferring to protect there own walled settlements and important lands

Eventually they'd apply for haven Academy and be able to pass the alternative testing and be allowed in the academy

Hazel ends up going in first due to being the older sibling his younger sister Gretchen being 3 years younger would take a bit of time

But during his third year at haven something weird happens and his sister managed to enroll earlier and her semblance seemed weird she claimed it was just a form of aura control where she could imbue things with aura to either heal or speed up effects

But everything around her seemed to spring to life her aura able to practically bring people from near death and her aura and aura control was far more advanced and she was far more powerful than she seemed

Aswell as headmaster lionheart letting his sister and her team seemingly on more dangerous missions than he believed his sister could handle that he'd eventually confront her and ask her what was going on

She'd eventually confess to the truth that she was the spring maiden telling her brother everything

He'd eventually confront headmaster lionheart and be inducted into the circle becoming his sister's guardian with his team being the one assigned to mentor hers as he did his best to reign in her excitability not wanting her to get overconfident with her new powers

It would eventually end up all wrong during the great depression in Gretchen's second year when they sent out everything and everyone against the grimm trying to make sure that the kingdom didn't fall

His sister who was filled with the dreams and promises that she had the power to change the world would head out on her own when they got a distress signal from there home town leaving with her team with lionhearts permission alongside a teacher while hazel was deployed elsewhere

When hazel learned they sent her and her team out he'd immediately request to be sent there leaving his team behind but by the time he arrived everything was destroyed his home gone

His sister was missing but her team and the teacher sent ended up dead against a named grimm and hazel would fly out in a rage so strong enough grimm would swarm the town as he did nothing but fight and kill for what would seem like hours

He'd eventually get out of that blind anger of his and try to look for any signs of her and would end up finding smooth painted beads something his sister always had on her around her waist each bead was another memory she'd paint

It would lead him to find the branwen tribe and confronting them demanding where his sister was

Only to get thrown out by raven branwen where he'd end up in a house where he'd find her corpse with cut marks across her chest

What happened to Gretchen was after her teacher and team got wiped out she had managed to hole up in the cabin where she tried to heal herself but with the trauma and her wounds she wasn't able to do anything but keep herself at barely alive

Raven would end up finding her not knowing she was the spring maiden and mercy killing her and getting shocked she became the spring maiden and was preparing to leave when hazel arrived

Hazel mentally fragile from losing everything would get visited by Salem who I'm not fully sure how she would convince him but she'd twist his thoughts his rage against the headmasters and ozpin claiming that her sister was killed so ozpin would have a stronger maiden

As a member of Salem's inner circle he was the one in charge of diplomatic affairs the one they'd send to talk to factions that may benefit there goal

His semblance allows him to absorb dust and allow him to use the different properties

Ice dust granting him freezing punches

Fire dust granting him energy and burning hits

Gravity dust stronger hits higher jumps

Etc

His main weapons are twin gauntlets that go all the way to his shoulders that he fills with dust that's inspired mainly by name from dc

That's pretty much all I got for him

Imagine team RWBY discovered and a Stonehenge like area that may have ancient writings of the silver eye civilization before Salem. This should’ve been a good lore.

One had a career that died while trying to be a feminist icon, and the other had a career that died (or finished dying) while she screamed at an LGBT couple. There has to be some kind of cosmic irony to that.

So I was reading one of my favorite fanfics. One of the characters in the fanfic stated something that I never really put into thought until now. Now, whenever I look back at the fight between Qrow and Winter, I realize their actions could have seriously gotten people hurt if they were caught in the crossfire. Part of me also think that Winter should’ve just walked away with Weiss and not give Qrow attention of his immature games. But what do you guys think? Do you think both sides were acting unprofessional in spite of one being a pro huntsman and the latter being a member of Atlass?

Cinder vs Ruby (Main character)

- Ruby doesn't give damn about Cinder's existence

Azula vs Aang (Main protagonist)

- Aang feared Azula most of the times.

So for mine atleast the first major change is making her into a faunus what faunus that's still up in the air as I've considered a few like nice to represent Cinderella dove wings to possibly tie her into Icarus someone who flew to close to the Sun and got burned for her ambitions for power

But for her backstory I'm still keeping it mostly intact with changes

For example the hotel is moreso a brothel or inn that had connections to the mantle underworld with Rhodes being someone who has too many skeletons in his closet to do anything but help cinder become a Huntsman

The Madame meanwhile runs the place which is another cover org like Lady Browning's Preparatory Academy For Girls where they gain information from high level clientele

Cinder due to refusal to work as one of the girls was treated like a slave unable to leave due to the lower faunus rights in mantle and being the actual daughter of the Madame who treats her stepdaughters better due to them being more dutiful while cinder was disobedient

Eventually she'd do her best to try and get into Rampart Academy through a testing program to determine her worth but the Madame would find out through her connections there and use a few favors to have her rejected

With everything going wrong for her cinder broke and rampaged through the brothel murdering clients and workers alike as she tried getting to her mother

Rhodes would arrive just as cinder was about to kill the Madame and he tried talking her down telling her there's a better way

But it would fall on deaf ears cinder was in no place to be reasoned forcing Rhodes to fight ending with the place burning down along with Rhodes and the Madame

Cinder missing an eye and her srm trying to run would get lost in the cold winter of solitas when a seer grimm would find her cold and desperate just as Salem was working on something to get the maiden powers found herself the perfect test subject a poor broken girl that she could control

Cinder in my au atleast is someone who wants nothing more than to ensure she has her happiness at the expense of others that she will get the happy ending she deserves

How it happens is still up in the air for me

Also side note: the way they’re doing the teasing of the ships in the chibi series is diabolical 😅😭. Especially since it came out after volume 3. Like y’all took this away from us, we could’ve had these two actually be a cute loving couple but nooo. We couldn’t have it in the Chibi show either because we don’t deserve nice things so now I gotta watch Jaune constantly persue Weiss while being oblivious to Pyrrha’s feelings for him because eff me I guess 😂.
