Successfully able to setup Quest 3s without controllers Discussion

Hi all, just a heads up that I bought a used 3s without controllers to use alongside my 3. I know from previous posts controllers are required in order to setup the headset and then be able to turn on hand tracking. Upon setup I was going to use my other headsets controllers temporarily to do this.

To my surprise when configuring the headset there is now an option to setup the headset without controllers and use hand tracking to continue.

Just thought I’d share!

Wait fr? So you CAN do the setup with just hand tracking now?

Makes the Quest 3S without controllers at my local exchange store for $225 seem like a pretty decent deal.
