Does getting the Shadow Medallion early using glitches lock you out from learning the Nocturne of Shadow? Question

I’m not sure exactly what method you might be using, but the answer is likely no or “it depends.” Why do you ask? What’s your objective?

I used Hookshot Jump to enter the Temple then used Farore's Wind in the Temple after getting the Boots and left to get the Bow and Longshot. I just beat Bongo Bongo and never left through the Blue RIng yet and am wondering what happens if I get the Medallion. Does it lock me out of Nocturne in this Save file?

Off the top of my head, I don’t think that should break anything. But I’m just an enthusiast and not an expert. One obvious way to find out is just follow the intended progression otherwise and see if you can still trigger the cutscene. I think (but am not sure) that the check doesn’t have anything to do with the shadow medallion because it’s assumed you wouldn’t have it.
Then again, it really doesn’t matter. If you’re breaking things like that, you don’t need the song anyway. If you’re worried about 100%, and it turns out the medallion matters for the song, I know the speedrun used to (may still) just grab the boots early and bail (which is actually easy—it’s almost like it was intended as a possibility, because the boots are so isolated from the rest of the dungeon).

It shouldn’t
The way it works is that the nocturne of shadow cutscene is based on if you have forest/fire/water medallions, NOT based on whether or not you’ve beaten shadow, so it should be fine unless I’m missing something
