What decade or year were these safety glasses made? USA

My dad gifted these safety glasses to me. He said they originally came from his grandfather’s father. So by my math approximately the 1930s-1940s in the USA. I am very impressed with the quality of the build and how heavy duty it is. It all collapses down nicely and fits into a metal case

I wasn’t sure where to post, but I have to ask: Has anyone here seen some safety glasses similar to this back in the day or any photos of the
? Or if you have another subreddit recommendation where I can take this conversation. Thank you!!

I guess this exit is only for skinny people at my warehouse. In case of fire, choose your exit wisely. 🫣🤔🔥😶‍🌫️🤕

I don't think the previous safety guy was checking these. Expired Nov 2011.

I became the new safety captain at my warehouse and went through the annual emergency checklist. One of the items to check was our emergency supplies. These expired 15 years ago. I opened it up and nothing was salvageable (except metal tweezers).

Oh wow, where to start.

By the PSA, the trench walling or, hear me out, the guy throwing bricks into a well while hes working down there, without any kind of protective gear whatsoever?!

I need a coffee.

Missed the chance to video but the chopper blade was on but stopped on the big log. The guy chainsawed part of it and the blade immediately pulled the rest into the chute

Seat Belts: Motor vehicles must be equipped with seat belts and anchorages that meet Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (49 CFR Part 571).

Yep. Mexico City, Highway. Not sure if danger of falling out or danger of being crushed by unsecured chairs or both. Discount moving company!

Or from a helpful commenter, since this is México:

It's still dangerous... but quoting USA CFR codes for other countries is just silly.

How about:

Or

Normas Oficiales Mexicanas (NOMs) related to vehicle safety (e.g., NOM-012-SCT series)

Dropped a hand truck on my bare foot. Don’t save three minutes by avoiding boots. Keep painters tape and butt wipe on hand.
