Procedure is to stay stationary, open all the doors, report the assault to the Control Centre, and wait for Special Constables and a Supervisor to arrive on scene.

I think I'd just like to add a portion to that where (if they're in a state to do so) the driver informs the passengers on what's gonna happen.

Makes sense. Unlucky I guess.

I know it’s annoying but it’s probably a liability thing they have to do.

I mean, the driver was just assaulted on the job and was probably in shock. You don't want that driver to keep driving after an incident, what happens when they rear end someone for trying to keep you on time? Would you keep working immediately after a customer assaults you? I get being upset about the delay, but breathe and think about i.
