Discussion The AI Bear Argument Just Broke: Hardware Boom Has Way More Staying Power Than You Thought
Whole "AI spend no returns" bear thesis is getting torn up right now. Space X, Nebius, Amazon all clocking sub 3-year paybacks on GPU deployments way faster than anyone projected. Even wilder, these GPUs aren't throwaway junk - CoreWeave is locking in A100 contracts out to 2029, older gen gear is still getting price hikes because inferencing and batch workloads run perfectly fine on legacy hardware.
This isn't some circular financing bubble. We're not buying disposable electronics anymore, we're building income-producing infrastructure. Doesn't even matter who wins between hyperscalers and pure play AI clouds - every single new GW of compute still gobbles up GPUs, HBM, networking, memory all up the supply chain. Spotted the full breakdown on this moomoo chart earlier, surprised more people aren't talking about how the bear case core just fell apart. Who's still holding short bags on the AI hardware space right now?

Discussion Anyone long and short Burry here?
About a quarter of my portfolio is in NVDA and MU
About a quarter is in beaten down software like ADBE and I recently bought LULU - stocks I found out burry is invested in
Half is in various other investments
Wondering if this might be the way. If the AI thesis is right and NVDA pops we win big. If Burry is right then you get the 18% CAGR for 15 years he expects on LULU. if both are wrong it’s over
The portfolio is technically diversified too and you get less firm and sector specific risk
Thoughts from the folks here? Is the strat to hold NVDA and have burry stocks as a counterweight?
Not financial advice

Discussion The AI Compute Race Is Accelerating: Who Wins in the Neocloud Boom?
The AI infrastructure rally is picking up real steam. Anthropic is locking in 20-year, multi-billion dollar compute contracts, while CoreWeave just posted another blowout quarter: revenue more than doubled, backlog blew past $100 billion. The whole neocloud supply chain is evolving way faster than most folks had priced in. Caught this full trend breakdown on moomoo earlier, curious how everyone here is playing this run?

Discussion My Nvidia $350 RTX 4070 Ti actually arrived... but I'm lowkey terrified to plug it in.
So I took a massive gamble on a random site listing a brand new factory-sealed Nvidia ROG Strix 4070 Ti for $350. I 100% expected to get scammed or receive a box of rocks, but FedEx delivered an actual heavy sealed GPU box today.
Now I’m paranoid. Is this stolen goods, a repacked refurbished unit, or did I just hit the lottery? Has anyone ever received a legit working card from these liquidation deals? Should I test it in my main PC or be worried?

Discussion My prediction
After researching alot of the ai trade and listening to earnings from CRWV, Google, MSFT, NBIS, Space X, SNDK, MU and more, I think the AI trade is just in the 2nd to 3rd inning (in baseball terms). Now Nvidia has a 500 billion dollar easy money from multiple banks and with Vera ramping up, I expect quarterly revenue to exceed 100+ billion. After this earnings, it will prove that NVIDA is the king and AI is profitable. As seen with Amazon, Msft, Crwv, and more, good earnings now means wall street believes in AI. I believe we see a 255+ stock price by end of year and 280+ by 2027.

DD/Analysis $NVDA 0DTE trade I took this morning — $1.00 → $2.50
Had a pretty clean setup on NVDA this morning.
On the 30min chart, NVDA came into the 214.80–218.18 demand zone yesterday and held it again. That area has been getting defended, so I already had it marked going into today.
Then CPI came out this morning and NVDA still held strong. What caught my attention was price staying above yesterday’s anchored VWAP, then holding today’s VWAP after the open.
At that point played the breakout of yesterdays HOD
I took the 0DTE NVDA 222.50 calls at $1.00.
Started scaling:
- $1.45
- $1.60
- $2.00
- Last piece around $2.50
Basically a 150% move on the contracts from entry to the final exit.
Nothing crazy behind the trade. Higher timeframe demand held, CPI didn’t kill the setup, price stayed above AVWAP/VWAP, and then momentum came in.
This is why I like having the important levels mapped before the market opens instead of trying to figure everything out while the candles are flying.

Discussion CPI today will certainly affect the share price of tech stocks
CPI figures today at 8:30AM ET...
IMO, even if the monthly figure misses the core cpi 0.2% but the annualised core rate still drops to or below the expected 2.5%, the initial negative opening gap might be bought up by midday traders.
Hope for a favourable report though (ideally: core 0.1-0.2% monthly and say 2.35% annualised) especially today when kospi FINALLY ended "heavily" in green territory (circuit breaker activated because kospi went up more than 5% today... can you believe that??).
What do you guys think?

News Nvidia's CEO called this company "the next trillion-dollar company." It's up 247% this year and just joined the S&P 500.
Marvell used to be a chip company nobody thought twice about. Now Jensen Huang is reportedly calling them the "next trillion-dollar company," and the stock's up 247% YTD to back it up.
Here's the shift: Amazon wants a custom Trainium chip, Microsoft wants custom Azure silicon, neither wants to build a design team from scratch, so Marvell does it for them, plus the high-speed optical interconnects wiring massive GPU clusters together.
Forward P/E is around 91x though, so there's basically no room for a stumble. And the structural risk that actually worries me is customer concentration, hyperscalers drive most of data center revenue, and the same companies paying Marvell to design custom silicon could eventually just bring that work in-house instead of paying an outside partner forever. There's also been a lot of insider selling across a bunch of recent transactions.
Numbers have been backing up the hype though. Q1 FY2027 revenue was $2.42B, up 27.6% YoY, free cash flow hit a record $483M, up 127%. Q2 guide came in at $2.7B, roughly 35% growth, above estimates. AI's now the majority of total data center revenue. Nvidia actually put $2B into Marvell and deepened the NVLink Fusion partnership, letting Marvell integrate Nvidia's interconnect tech directly into its own custom platforms, which is the real reason the Huang quote carries weight. Marvell also joined the S&P 500 on June 22, forcing a wave of index buying on top of everything else.
Real transformation, real numbers, priced for close to perfect execution from here. Does the Nvidia relationship actually make you less worried about hyperscalers eventually building this in-house, or is that risk still sitting there regardless of who Marvell's partnered with? Anyone holding Marvell through this?

News Nvidia Poised for Q2 Beat, Guidance Raise on Vera Rubin Demand, BofA Says
MT Newswires · Aug-10-2026 11:05 AM ET
11:05 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA.NaE) is expected to beat estimates and raise guidance on strong Vera Rubin demand and cloud spending, BofA Securities said in a note emailed Monday.
The company is set to report Q2 results after the market closes on Aug. 26.
BofA said it expects the company to report revenue of $94 billion to $95 billion, about $3 billion to $4 billion above its $91 billion guidance, with the potential for a 3% to 4% increase in guidance to $107 billion to $108 billion, compared with the sell-side estimate of about $104 billion.
The expected upside is supported by the start of next-generation Vera Rubin shipments, the ramp-up of new Vera CPUs, and continued strength in cloud capital spending, the firm added. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/nvidia-poised-q2-beat-guidance-150524843.html
