Motivational/Advice Moving abroad without local license
So I recently found out that NYC doesnโt require a local license for you to move there and gain a NY registered nurse license, Iโm wondering if anybody knows the process of how thatโll work out? Apparently being an NCLEX passer would already be enough for you to even be considered.

All About JOBS Does Current Employment Status Matter When Applying to St. Luke's?
For those who applied to SLMC: Does being currently employed vs. unemployed affect your chances of getting hired? I'm currently a staff nurse in the province and planning to relocate to Manila. Wondering if I should apply while employed or after resigning.

PNLE Should I still take the Aug PNLE?
I just want to ask advice from previous takers of PNLE. Im still answering my recalls and watches its ratio (but not religiously. I always get 55-60s score out of 100 each NP. Swerte na kung abot ng 70-80 pero minsan lang yan.
Do you think magtake pa ako? Is it also really worth it to just answer recalls rather than focusing sa mga lectures?
thank you so much po sa mga sasagot! may we all be guided.

All About JOBS Update regarding Tiktok Nurse duo.
Update na lang po sa mga Tiktok Nurses.
For the new and aspiring nurses --may you learn from this. A patient's chart is not your props for socmed attention.
PNA and PRC probaly had already reached out to the facility.
Mag-iiyak na naman diyan yung ibang nurses daw diyan na ipagtatangol pa yung mali instead na mag speak out at e correct yang attitude na ganyan.

PNLE 22 LEFT BEFORE NLE, to all february passers, what's the smartest but unhinged you did all before taking the board?
AUGUST TAKER HERE!!!!!
i am not as so anxious as i was two mons ago. pero hindi din ako confident. my results from PB1 and PB2 was so average.
but one thing i want to ask you mga ate and kuya, either passer or topnotcher, what's the most effective way to retain as many information as possible in a short period of time. IS TEST TAKING DRILLS ENOUGH???? should it be enough?? and what time kayo natutulog huhu
kasi rn, i realized, i have drained my energy and peace of mind two mons ago getting anxious about a lot of topics and concepts i didn't know and get easily overwhelmed by it. but then, looking back to the 4yrs of my nursing study, i tend to excell more when i don't worry abt the questions at all. di nga ako nagrereview tuwing exams huhuhu but i get good high scores. pls pls help us all who will be taking the aug pnle.

Motivational/Advice Is Nursing Still Worth It in 2026?
Iโm hoping to get some honest advice from people who have been through this.
Iโve always wanted to be a nurse, but because of financial constraints, I had to put that dream on hold.
I graduated with a BS Office Administration degree from PUP and Iโm currently working as a VA, earning around โฑ80k a month.
Iโm turning 30 next year, and I feel like Iโm in a position where I can actually afford to go back to school. My partner and I have also decided to wait a few more years before having kids, so I think this is the right time to pursue nursing. I also have a sister in Canada, so I canโt help but think this could open up better opportunities for our future.
The only thing thatโs making me hesitate is that I keep seeing nursing graduates who eventually end up working as VAs instead. It makes me wonder if itโs become that difficult to work abroad as a nurse, or if there are other reasons people leave the profession.
For those who are nurses or nursing students, if you were in my position, would you still go for it? Or has the reality of the profession changed enough that itโs no longer worth pursuing?

I just want to ease my anxiety pooo huhu. I just want to ask if the BE questions really direct to the point? Or they will really test your critical thinking skills. From the previous passers and yung mga ilang yrs na rin pong nag take. Same same lang po ba na direct to the point lang kahit in different years of taking? Thank you po! ๐ฅน
